Sweet Cheesecake — Restaurant in Marion

The cheesecake is worth the hype, its delicious! Very creamy yet somehow light and fluffy without being too rich. When I arrived around 330 on Saturday they were down to two flavors, banana cream and animal cookie. I bought a slice of each. I knew I would likely like the banana cream as I typically love all things banana and it did not dissappoint. I was worried the animal cookie would be too sweet but they managed to really nail that frosted circus animal cookie flavor without going too heavy on the sweetness. It actually was my favorite of the two and I cant wait to get a piece for my mom to try as she loves those little cookies! The only downside of my stop was the girl working (she was in sweats if that helps decipher who I am referring to...I dont care what she was wearing, just to refer to who I am speaking about as I didnt catch a name) very clearly did not want to be there. She could not have made it much more obvious that she just wanted to go home and not deal with me or anyone else coming in at that point. I get that she may have had a long day up until that point but I had just walked 4 blocks in the freezing cold after having been traveling all day from florida and I still greeted her warmly with a smile on my face and I wasnt being paid to be there as she was. So I had an experience with this business originally where I was trying to learn about the ingredients and what the flavors were and how each cheesecake was made, but unfortunately, the gal didn’t know and so I had posted a review about just how frustrating it was for a few reasons after that, though the business owner reached out to me personally and worked with me, educated me about their cheesecake and their flavors and the ingredients, and then was very, very kind very accommodating And offered to make it right and was willing to go into the store outside of business hours and really made a huge huge difference and the customer service and who she is as a person really shined through and definitely earned my business with how willing she was to make it right and be understanding and Really be there for the customer. This bright, clean shop offers multiple cheesecake flavors in varied sizes. From full cheese cakes to slices to bites. One Friday mid-morning a few weeks ago, there were at least 12 types of cheese cakes available in bites and slices. Cinnamon roll bite and M&m cheesecake bite were very good. There is no seating except for outdoor tables, which will be nice in spring and summer. Only one note as a suggestion; the counter server, while wearing the expected gloves, handled money at the cash register and got your cheese cake without changing gloves, which i observed for at least three customers following us.
