I am usually a satisfied customer, however on this visit when the cashier rang up my items the sugar free candy that I was purchasing rang up for$1.85 each, rather than the price on the shelf of $1.69 each. I brought it to the cashiers attention & showed her the same items on display near most of the registers, 2 out of 3 displays showed the price of $1.69 & 1 display showed the price of $1.89. I asked the cashier to adjust the price to $1.69, not only did she refuse, she removed the $1.69 tags & then went on a rant about how she is not responsible for other employees not doing their jobs. Of course I asked to speak with the manager & what do you know she said she was the manager. Clearly, I should have paid the price marked & not price that came up whe the items were scanned. Certainly, as the customer I shouldn't be responsible for making sure the employees do their jobs efficiently. I would think that should be the job of the manager aka my cashier. I purchased 12 pkges which means I paid $1.92 over the sticker price, I can accept that on future purchases of this product but no way should I have been charged more than the sticker price on this visit. She did of course include in her rant that I didn't have to purchase it if I wasn't satisfied with the price. Obviously I wanted the items or I wouldn't have put them in my wagon to begin with. I think quality control needs to retrain this cashier...
Read moreReally nice and organized location! However most of the cashiers are rude. Employees there need to understand the store policies. If it literally says on the door on a big sign "Masks required unless medically unable to wear a mask"..do NOT ask me if I have a mask when I walk in! I KNOW how to read and clearly if I'm walking in without a mask it is because I am medically unable to and exempt from wearing one!
Also when it was time to be rung up, I was told by an employee "I can take you at this register because that customer is not comfortable with no mask" which made me feel uncomfortable. She could have just said "I can take you over here" instead of including the part about me not having a mask on, which was a discriminatory comment about my mask exemption.
Other than that, I appreciate the stores policy on masks, but don't appreciate being questioned. I do appreciate the cleanliness, organization and full stock...

I would like to issue a MILLION apologies to the Aldi store and their employees at 623 Texas Road, Morganville NJ for mistakenly posting a bad review and giving them a one-star rating. I have NEVER shopped at the Aldi store at 623 Texas Road, Morganville NJ. When I received the survey for Aldi , I thought it was for ACME supermarket. I had unintentionally and mistakenly given Aldi and their employees a bad review and a low rating. I am SO sorry I did this. This is really bad. I have shopped at Aldi at 2 different locations and I always had a NICE shopping experience. So based on this, I'm giving Aldi a Perfect 5-star 🌟 rating. I hope that the Aldi store staff and management at 623 Texas Road, Morganville NJ will accept my sincere apologies for misrepresenting the Aldi store in Morganville, NJ and I hope to never to mess up like this again.
