Stepping into Kyuramen in Old Bridge was like being transported to a cozy, modern ramen shop. The sleek, honeycomb booths with their individual privacy curtains were a fantastic touch, creating an intimate space even in a bustling restaurant. It was the perfect atmosphere for slurping down a comforting bowl of noodles on a chilly evening. I decided on the #3 Super Bowl Ramen, and it did not disappoint. The broth was incredibly rich and flavorful, and the perfectly cooked noodles had just the right amount of chew. The toppings were a highlight, especially the pork belly and the fried chicken. For an appetizer, we tried the Honeycomb Platter, Yakitori platter, and the steamed pork bao buns. All tasted delicious, especially the honeycomb platter with little bit of everything, it’s a must have. To wash it all down, I ordered the passion fruit tea. It was the perfect sweet and sour balance to the savory main course. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff was happy to answer all my questions. Overall, Kyuramen is a fantastic addition to the Old Bridge dining scene. It offers a unique and memorable experience that goes beyond a standard meal. I'm already planning my next visit to try the...
Read moreI visited this new ramen spot with a friend on November 1st, just a few days after their grand opening on October 27th. The restaurant was very busy, which was great to see! We checked in using the iPad at the front desk and waited a little over an hour for a table. Once seated, we were given hand wipes which was a nice touch.
Our food came out in a timely manner, and everything was delicious! I did ask if they had chopstick cheaters (I’m not great with chopsticks!), but they didn’t have any — maybe something to consider adding in the future.
One really fun feature was the call button at our booth to ring our server when we needed something — super convenient! While waiting, my friend and I wrote and drew on the small wooden plaques that guests can hang on the tree in the center of the restaurant. It was really fun to see what others had written, and we hung up ours after finishing our meal.
Despite how busy it was, the staff stayed friendly and organized. Overall, a great experience — the food, atmosphere, and service all made for a really enjoyable visit. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe had such a great experience at Kyuramen! The service was super fast — barely any wait time and our food came out quickly.
We started with drinks — the coconut boba and the passion fruit boba. Both were really good! For appetizers, we shared skewers with pork, chicken, beef, tofu, and zucchini, plus shrimp tempura. The zucchini was surprisingly amazing! The spicy cucumber was fresh and had a nice kick. I also loved the different spices they had on the table — especially the one that looked like a pepper paste, it had so much flavor.
We shared two ramen bowls (white pepper and black pepper) and both were delicious. We also tried two types of omurice — one with egg and curry and one with tonkatsu and demi-glaze — both were so good!
For dessert, we split the matcha one and the cherry one — really tasty. The bathroom was clean too, which is always a plus. Overall, great food, quick service, and a nice vibe. We’ll definitely be back! Lastly, My niece won a free drink. At the bottom of the ramen bowl, you may get a surprise and that was...
