Post Road Plaza — Local services in Marlborough

Run of the mill city plaza. The options are underwhelming, most if not all of the food is gone. Tenants seem to be fleeing. The only real attractions to this plaza and area are the anchors being Savers, Marshall’s, Job Lot, and Price Chopper. Other than that, small business seems to have given up in this location, and every time I drive by there’s either more vacant spaces or a new business has come in, only to be gone a few months later. Unsure if it’s the plaza or the businesses but either or, it doesn’t seem like there’s much ever going on here. Not to mention, two of the three retail outlets are generally pretty dingy and seemingly not well maintained (Savers and Job Lot). Also the way that Savers stores donations in plain sight on the side of the building really detracts from the overall visual appeal of the space. Just makes it seem sorta junky… hoping as the economy recovers some life can be breathed back into this plaza, but the way it’s been going for the last decade, I don’t think much can save it besides some really strong and popular national...

There needs to be a 4 way stop sign or even a traffic light in this deathtrap of a plaza. People, even older adults are driving 45 miles per hour up and down the entrance road. You look to your right, which is partially obstructed by trees, as you exit Pricechopper supermarket, & as soon as you look left, someone zooms past you. The same is true when you look left . No sooner do you look right & someone going way toi fast zooms by you. I almost got hit by a car barreling up on my right as Ibtried to exit left after I looked both ways. Also, if you are shopping at Marrshalls and park on the far right, there are no carriage areas. Someone, also an older adult nearly backed over me ad I was walking to return my carriage. This occurs every day; I know because I am on injury leave from work and I shop everyday to get out and stretch my legs. There definitely needs to be a traffic light or 4 way stop sign as you enter the Marshalls & Ocenstate Joblot parking lot and as you exit the Pricechopper...

Everything you could need in one place! Awesome plaza filled with stores for every need! Market 32 has the most delicious vanilla chocolate chip muffins. But don’t buy them all on me lol. I’m addicted lol! Auto zone, savers where you can find just about anything at amazing prices, to a smoke shop/vape shop, to an amazing dentist (Apollo/my dentist and they’re amazing in every way!), to CVS and even a restaurant, a storage facility which I’ve also used, the only thing that stinks is they have no drive up units. They’re a bit over priced in my Opinion too…. To even an ocean state job lot! Literally EVERYTHING you could need in one plaza. The Savers in this plaza is the best I’ve ever been to as well. Clean and they always have amazing items! Couldn’t say enough good things...
