Ashley Store — Local services in Marquette Township

I spent over $2K here and they sent me a couch that was defective. After about 4 weeks I noticed that it was giving way in the middle and I informed them about it. They saw the frame was broken but they won't replace it for me. Instead they said they will repair it. After a lot of arguing they agreed to replace it and the next one was defective as well. They won't take back the matching chair so now I have spent all this money to have mismatching furniture in my living room. This shopping experience was the worse I have ever had in my life. If you want to spend a lot of money to have your living room ruined then this is the place to shop.

Also to get them to call you back is like pulling teeth. I had to ask several times for a call back before I got one. They only talk over email and never follow up. This has been an absolute nightmare to deal with this company. I have feel I have been completely taken for a ride.

You will get better service shopping online and a better chance they stand behind their product. This place doesn't understand why anyone would walk into a brick and mortar shop and provides an awful customer service experience.

Shirlee helped me through the maze of selecting a mattress that has proven, after two years, to have been a great purchase. As Goldilocks said, "It's just right." I was in a hurry on the day we needed it. The sales rep listened carefully, asked me the right questions, and had me out the door with the right mattress in record time. Recently an elderly relative needed an ottoman for elevating her legs. Before ordering something on- line, I checked Ashley. A different sales person, Diane, asked important questions I hadn't considered (e.g. "Is the person using it strong enough to move it into position?") In short order Diane walked through both levels of the store and came up with three, lightweight, compact choices. We bought what she suggested, a pouf, that fits perfectly in a small apartment yet it is high enough to reduce the leg swelling. The wife and I had a very good shopping experienced with our pitculaular sales lady ( shame on .e for forgetting her name at this moment.)

She was such a gem that we went in to purchase a bed, and she took the time to ask questions regarding our wants and needs in a bed, she took the time to explain various mattress that they had and ones she could order if what we were looking for was not on site.

We purchased the bed, left the store and spoke on her customer service skills and personality and that she was not aggressive and was very attentive.

So we return a week later to look around for a couch, the same saleswoman approach us and we did work with her, so now we have a couch and big man chair.

The next week instead of going to the other furniture place the wife and I spoke about we returned to Ashley's and picked up to chest of drawers from the same sales lady.

The delivery Fellas were just as welcoming as the one sales lady we encountered, I even shared some if my military 🪖 ...
