The real mark of a company‘s customer service comes not during the sale but when there’s a problem. I have been having an ongoing issue with a stihl chainsaw bought at darlings hardware. Mike the owner personally went out of his way to solve the problem even after the factory warranty had elapsed. His integrity and concern for his customers satisfaction is unmatched by any other company I’ve dealt with. He not only was willing to Do what he could to make things right personally, he also worked on my behalf pressuring stihl to stand behind their products even after the warranty period. Read moreI walked in the door this morning, was asked what I needed, and was directed to the appropriate aisle. I then walked down to the aisle where a gentleman set aside what he was working on and asked what I was looking for. He then pulled what I needed from the respective drawers, bagged and tagged the items, and I headed back to the counter where I was able to check out immediately. I think the entire shopping trip was five minutes....maybe less thus allowing me to get back to my project in rapid order.

Went back there and saw reels of chain, and wondered, am I supposed to figure out how to cut this to length myself? Walked around the store a bit, and finally a young man asked if he could help me.
