Went there on 17 March to split my phone plan off my ex-wifes plan. Of course, I am eligible for an upgrade. Anthony pulled out a couple of Google pixel 6a phones. I asked about Samsung and I was told that android uses google software and it's the same phone just one is google and the other is Samsung. Nothing could be further from the truth, the google pixel 6a took 1 hour 46 minutes to charge from 56% to 100%. That battery barely lasted as long as my Samsung 10e which has a battery that is starting to fail. It doesn't wirelessly charge and the software definitely isn't the same. Maybe that was my fault, but I have better stuff to do than follow the latest phone tech. After everything is said and done I walked out paying shy of $500. So the phone is terrible I take it back as I felt I was lied to about the phone. They did nothing to make this right, still wanted the $50 restocking fee for each phone, no refund on the screen savers or anything. This in my opinion was terrible business after being told it was the same phone. Whatever the phone was bad enough to where I still returned it and take the loss after the lady told me I wasn't told any of that stuff. Asked if I could get the Samsung and I was told by a different employee that the only upgrade was the Galaxy 22, they would have to order the phone and I would still have to pay for the phone at a sum of $5 a month for the duration of the contract. I promptly took my business to Battle Creek where they actually value customer satisfaction and they gave me an upgrade to the galaxy 23 in exchange for my galaxy 10 and also gave my daughter a free galaxy 21 free and clear. This Verizon store in my opinion lacks integrity and does not uphold the corporate value of customer satisfaction. Do yourselves a favor and just drive the extra 10 minutes to the Battle Creek store where there is no restocking fees and customer satisfaction is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlex Gore was our sales rep back on Jan 2nd. We went in, because Verizon was having a promotion where you can trade in your phone up to $1000 and get a free tv. When we first mentioned the promo we had seen on the app and spoke with the live agent about that morning when making the appointment, Alex had no idea there was a promotion going. He said "Oh that's awesome! I'll have to let others know so they can take advantage of this promotion."
We spent two hours there getting our new phones set up and mentioned multiple times how we were excited about the free tv we would receive in 30 days. That the only reason we were there to do the trade in was for the tv.
Turns out he should've taken the time to read how the promo works, because it was for either a free tv OR get the $1000 trade in. He was quick to make a sale and due to this we were misled.
We are extremely unhappy with our experience at this point and do not plan to ever work with this location again, since we went in today at 10:30 to fix it and the lady said to call Fincanial Servies to fix it. Only for Verizon to say they cannot fix this unless their sales rep makes a note on the account...

I can understand your frustration, but you have left out or did not know some key details. 1) The employee you called said she was on break when you were there, which she was, as she was the only one working there. Closing the store for 30 minute breaks are mandatory. She has been written up for working through breaks and staying past to help people. So, she had to clock out (which disables her from using the in-store systems to help you) and lock the door, per job requirement. 2) She did not just go back to her book to read, ignoring you. She went to the back to not be seen as there were two people banging heavily on the doors and windows all around the store ā people she isnt allowed to help do mandtory clock out. Most people would be terrified in that situation. 3) The store is short staffed, due to personally losses of those in the company. Again, your frustration is understandable, but I hope you yourself my understand before you are understood, as you did not know the full situation. Hope this helps. The girl who works there deserves credit. Being a wireless consultant is no...
