This review is focused on the customer service from Marysville establishment even though the poor product comes from Everett store.
A bubble tea was purchased from Everett which was down right disgusting. I was returning home so I figured I would stop at the Marysville location to have the drink fixed.
Upon contact on with the cashier, she immediately identified that the Oolang Tea was miscolored, indicating a poorly made beverage. I asked if she could simply remake the drink, acknowledging this wasn't their mistake but from the Everett establishment. The cashier agreed to remake it, but a second female employee intervened and advised the manager would have to grant permission because the Everett Sharetea is a seperate franchise then the Marysville Sharetea.
The male manager of Marysville Sharetea came out from the back advised he would not remake the order. Instead the manager doubled down that this was Everett's mistake and they would not remake it without me paying for the beverage again (the beverage was completely full).
Here's my main argument coming from 5+ years experience in customer service. The fix is simple, and the cost of remaking the drink is much cheaper then the retail price that is sold to the customer. This manager could have simply provided great customer service by advising me, the customer, that they were a seperate franchise; but, this time only they would do a remake of the drink. That way I know that these are seperate companies but I also walk away with a superior product / great PR story to tell my family and friends.
Instead, I will tell the story about how a manager was such a penny pincher he couldn't spare to remake one drink that could have created a positive customer experience. I'll further friends and family to try different bubble tea locations that are not Marysville Sharetea because the manager is not customer driver. An I'll follow it up further by leaving this negative review. It's not much, but I hope it disways future potential customers from this establishment because it's clear they are more focused on a few pennies of profit then the long term care of...
Read moreWalking into Sharetea is like stepping into a haven where tea flows as smoothly as the stellar service. This isn’t just a boba shop, it’s a brew-tiful experience.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with smiles warmer than a freshly steeped tea. The staff doesn’t just take your order, they steep themselves in hospitality, ensuring every sip is tailored to perfection. Whether you like your drinks boba-daciously sweet or toned down with just a whisper of sugar, they’ll tea-m up with you to craft the perfect blend.
And the drinks? Each is a testament to quality, from the velvety milk teas to the refreshingly crisp fruit infusions. The pearls are consistently chewy, never over/undercooked and the flavors, balanced, bold and downright tea-rrific.
But what truly sets Sharetea apart is its sip-erb customer service. The staff offers recommendations like seasoned tea sommeliers and somehow makes even the busiest rush feel like a personalized tea tasting.
In a world where good service is sometimes as rare as a perfectly brewed tea, Sharetea leaves a lasting impression. If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to chai it out, you’ll be...
