We took six kids, ages 9, 9, 9, 11, 13, 13, one participating adult and two non-participating adults (to help); and had a wonderful and successful time. No issues. The staff-instructor (Cade) was wonderful, patient, helpful, and allowed individual creativity in the process. We did the rebar knife, and while it took the whole three hours, we never felt rushed or behind. Price seems appropriate for the process, and result. The Marysville space appears to be a converted jiffy-lube or similar. We went in late October, and would recommend going in cooler temps. Forge heat could make it uncomfortably warm in the summer. Again, good times, happy memories, and seven unique and functional trinkets to cut boxes through steak. We had one seax, one drop-point, one dagger/spear-point, one over-curved saber-style, and two traditional āsteakā style blades. Creativity is welcomed and assisted. The only thing indint get to do was flatten the handle as much as Iād like for attaching scales. This process ovals the bare rebar for a narrow-ish metal handle. If you want a wider/flatter handle, communicate and plan accordingly. I plan on doing another project with them again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo i set up a couples class for my husbands birthday! Lawless Forge did not disappoint! Cade, our instructor was phenomenal took charge of the class and explained everything in a really simple way. He made both my husband and myself feel like we were masters of the BBQ fork, and took the care time and effort to, Memorize our names, be apart of the whole experience, and compliment our time in a super personable way! The conversation and vibes were PERFECT for a date night; and for the time, supplies, instruction and over all atmosphere the price was a STEAL in my humble opinion. If youāre interested in a new skill, hobby or just a fun time i HIGHLY recommend lawless forge, and ask for Cade! Although we are a little bias āŗļø We are for sure going to try and set up an appointment for their ring class in the seattle location! Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad a really amazing time here at lawless forge, I went for the flower bouquet class with Cade as my instructor. Cade made the 3 hour session feel like it was just an hour. We went through phases to detail the flower, rivet the bottom and build the stem. Through out the smithing experience Cade ensured that we were comfortable and having fun while also making sure that we were safe. I would recommend picking the outer circle of anvils so you get more ventilation and the fan to keep you cool and hydrating between the phases. Overall its worth spending time here, creating various metal works and would recommend just to improve your...
