Wow! This place has really changed and for the worst. We made the time to drive up in traffic from Mill Creek with 3 kids (busy drive!) In order to see if we could get store credit for a baby swing and bouncer that our 5 month old grew out of and exchange it for a jumper! When we arrived we were rudely told that we needed an appointment to trade in.... since when? And where is this change advertised.... definitely not on their fb page which was last updated in 2014 and their non existent website. The owner's daughter acted like this had been public knowledge and with a condescending tone informed me it had been 2 YEARS since this change... blaming it on the pandemic when she wasn't even wearing a mask in her own store. They also shut down their kids play area and bathrooms, so if you're pregnant and need to use the bathroom, there isn't one, it's only for the owner and her daughter now. I was annoyed that she suggested I sell my items on Facebook instead of just taking 5 minutes to appreciate her customer and take the items for store credit right then and there.
Don't waste your time here. They don't deserve your items and the store has become really messy and cluttered. This place went downhill. Consider donating your items to charities or places that will be...
Read moreThe owner was so very rude they want to take your best items and give you the cheapest price for them. They tell you when you go to trade items for store credit that they are not doing well with business and making no money, trying to make their customers feel bad because they can't make sales. She tells you she is always taking items on her website and then tells you she isn't when you go into store. Also tries to say we are accepting all equipment right now, it sells, clothes just don't sell right now, but then when you ask what she would give you for an equipment item she says $20-25 for a rocking glider and ottoman in EXCELLENT condition , which originally cost was $240 and is still selling for that price, people sell them used all day for $150 at the cheapest in good shape and she has the Nerve to offer $25 ha ha ha yeah right!!! She low balls you and then complains, no wonder why she can't make a living like she tells her customers it all the time... (Lady guilt doesn't sell items or bring in business) It's very very poor service! And very poor greedy...
Read moreThere certainly is a big selection of baby and children's clothes and gear. I was disturbed, though, to see so many used car seats. As a Child Passenger Safety Technician ( trained to help parents with car seat installation) I know that car seat without a known history could have been damaged in a car crash, the straps could be incorrectly routed, there could be unsafe additions to the seat make by the previous owner and there may be recalls on the seat. By law the car seat has to be used according the the car seat manufacturer's instructions. If the instruction booklet in not included with the seat how are you to know how to adjust it for your child or how to install it correctly ? The owner of this shop may be responsible in a law suit where there is accident in one of her used car seats. I would recommend she give them back to the people who brought them in or have them destroyed. Do not buy a used car seat that you do not know the history of. Is it a good deal if your child...
