Class was okay. You start off slow and steady with 4 balls of clay. Then all of a sudden the instructor is rushing you to finish up and start cleaning. You don't get to pick the color you want for your completed piece(s). The color is voted on as a group. Eva was our instructor. Her explanation of steps could use some work. I heard a couple say they didn't understand what she was instructing. If you mess up you basically don't get to keep the piece. It would make more sense to teach a class how to make a specific item like "today we're all learning to make a mug". It wasn't like that though. She instructed everyone a general way to begin making something but never said let's try to spend like 3-5 min on each piece so you have a chance to use all the clay given. At one point I wasn't even finished with the second piece of clay and she was saying we should be finishing up with our 4th. It was a ln okay experience. Class needs better time management for sure. I don't think clean up should be part of the time you paid for. The time spent cleaning could've been used to complete what clay you didn't get to use. I never saw anywhere that said we would clean up. She also said we should clean up other people's workspace if we see they're behind. No offense but I didn't pay for them to come and would rather work on my own...
