So first off, the server we had was absolutely AWESOME!! Secondly, the side salad that came with it was perfect! But., That's the extent of it! The location of said restaurant was completely up to par with the food they serve, extremely Bland and uncharted. Next, they had one server for the entirety of the place, so it was her on a mad dash trying to keep up with the times, But due to her being the only server that was not possible.. So the wait time was rather lengthy.. My wife ordered a 5 oz center cut filet with broccoli and a side of rice. It was obvious to Stevie Wonder that the steak had come off of a George Foreman grill that has never seen a seasoning a day in its life.. I'm talking not even salt and pepper.. the broccoli tasted as if it come out of a frozen vegetable bag and was put in a pot of boiling water for roughly 2.75 minutes and pulled and put on the plate to serve. I ordered steak tips onions and bell peppers over a bed of rice, I received roughly 6 bites of steak, roughly 44 grains of rice a.k.a a (sleeping bag) not a bed.75 slices of bell pepper and 21 slices of onion.. That also., without a speck of even salt or pepper on it.. Not only was it not placed on the food, but it was not made readily available at each table.. coupled with the fact that I also ordered and was charged for an additional side of okra as well as a side of french fries that I did not receive until the meal was over and was forced to get it to go. I then decided to go with one of their cool Belgian beers to help ease my hunger and disappointment, for a small price of $25.99 for said 24 oz beer that began being made in 1645, That too, was also quickly made apparent that the recipe had not changed since then neither.. While I applaud them staying true to their roots in the production of their beer, It was very easily one of the most foul tasting liquids that I've ever put in my mouth since the day I was born. I literally felt the hair sprout for my chest as I drank it.. words cannot express how seriously I am going to try to convey the fact to you that this has been hands down the worst dining experience I've had in all of Maryville.. I highly recommend going to Burger King or Wendy's.. But once again, the lady (our server) was absolutely amazing and the side salad was quite delicious! Please...
Read moreSecond attempt going in with my boyfriend and stood at the bar for 20 minutes with no acknowledgement.....Sooo I wasn't going to do a review on this Good Ol Boy Restaurant but, here we go. Let's start with the bartender....when you come up to the bar you are supposed to be greeted, the first thing that came out of her mouth was"do you have your ID"?(well of course we do we are sitting at the bar). Secondly we ordered a drinks(alcohol) when my boyfriend ordered a beer(she never asked if he wanted draft or bottle) she assumed he was drinking out of a bottle.. asked for a glass for her a lightbulb to click on in her head.Thirdly when she brought out our food..my boyfriend ordered chicken tenders and fries( literally it was 10 fries )..I asked politely is this a order of fries? She rolled her eyes and went to the back and grabbed a bowel of fries. She was very rude and unprofessional and you could clearly tell the service from us to the rest of the folks in the bar. Loved coming into the Waterfront, not anymore we will take our...
Read moreWhat a fantastic place to eat! I don't think I've had a better ribeye sandwich in my entire life! My wife had what she said was the best Philly beef steak sandwich she's ever had and after trying a bite of it, I had to agree. We were absolutely pampered with the best table service I've experienced anywhere else in the area and that is saying a lot. The pricing was lower then other places I have been to which was totally surprising to me given the overall quality of the food and the service and the facilities. Feel free to take a look at some of the pictures that I took of the facilities and you'll see what I mean. They have a beautifully constructed outdoor patio overlooking the water below and it sure is a sight to see. All in all I would say this was one of the best experiences I've had at an eating establishment hey, which serves alcohol as well. Also I noticed they have karaoke and other such activities. This place is sure to please even the pickiest patron! I would give them more than five...
