I recently went to this Walgreens in search of a good hyaluronic acid serum and was having trouble choosing between two brands. The women working in the beauty section came over and offered help and SHE WENT WAY BEYOND!! She not only helped me with my decision but asked about my skincare routine and how to improve it - I learned so much from her. She also gave me samples (Vichy 89, Bioderma micellar water) that have improved my skin profoundly - and its only been a week. I told her i was visiting from Boston and she even told me to call her anytime I have any questions about my skin. I have never experience service like this, she was incredibly helpful, kind, and informed!!! I didn't get her name but she had a southern accent.    Read moreThe pharmacy will put prescriptions on hold after physicians call them in. They do not automatically refill the scripts leaving patients to go without knowing where their script is. This just happened to me. I called and no one wanted to own it due to frustration. The girl started telling me that I was yelling at her. We both know that was only a tactic to get me off the phone instead of finding a solution for the future. I have since moved all my scripts to another pharmacy. If I were you, I would not put my scripts at Walgreens Ashby. The staff is uneducated very rude and unnecessarily ignorant. I am very lucky that this prescription was not necessary for living. During a recent phone call to the pharmacy, I was straight lied to, about why my script had not been filled and I was about to miss my weekly injection. I was given numerous reasons for why my script was not filled, that were not true. Yet, I spoke with a different pharmacist a week earlier and he told me my script would be filled the next day due to my insurance not covering my meds until a week before running out of the prior month refill. All he had to do was admit that they overlooked it or they are short handed and I would have been fine with that. But lying to me is the fastest way to loose a customer and my business. ...
