I clearly ordered two hibachi sets right at the table. Before cooking, the chef only asked how I wanted my steak—he did not confirm which sets I had ordered. After they finished cooking, I realized part of my order was missing. The manager came over and immediately started blaming me for not double-checking with the chef, which is ridiculous.
Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to make it seem like it was my fault. Only after they checked with their own server—who confirmed that I did order the correct two sets—did they realize it was their mistake.
Before accusing a customer, maybe they should talk to their own staff first—both the chef and the server—instead of treating the customer like some scammer trying to get free food. That attitude is unacceptable.
The young woman at the front desk, Jessica, was completely unprofessional. Her behavior alone is enough to turn people away. This is exactly why they’re losing customers. I absolutely would not recommend this place to any tourist. They know you’re only coming a few times a year, and they treat you like you don’t matter. Unbelievable. Read moreI just had the worst experience I have ever had at Saga Hibachi. I know the place will probably post some garbage response. We arrive at 6:45 for our 7 reservation. Tables isn't ready, that's perfectly fine. So we grab drinks at the bar. After waiting about 30 minutes we ask about our reservation and they say they don't know how long it will be because the group hasn't left yet. After waiting another 30 minutes, so it's 7:45, we are still not seated. We decided that that was enough so we decided to leave. As we are walking out they say they have a table ready, we aren't interested anymore. We asked for some sort of comp on the drinks for wasting our time, and THE MANAGER said no, because our table is now available, so we won't comp you anything. Read more1-8-25 7pm I’m from Virginia visiting family and I’m heading back tomorrow. We decided to try Saga Hibachi and man was it a good decision. The service was phenomenal, our chef and all of the other chefs there are fantastic. I wish we got the name of our chef he said he was new so shoutout to you sir. The food was phenomenal as well nothing to complain about, the steak was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life, I normally get well done but I decided medium well that was a great choice. The rice and the veggies were cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere all around. Whenever I comeback up to the cape I’ll definitely be visiting Saga again. If there was an option for 10 stars...
