never been into a Hobby Lobby before and my best friend was taking me to this particular location to look at some of the wedding decorations that they had. we looked it wasn't a very big selection but it was okay. The only thing that kind of threw me off was customer service for a situation that we had. My best friend had bought item from there and she left her phone sitting on the counter at the registers so we leave and it's 5 till 8 they where getting ready to close so I called them at literally 8 on the dot and I asked did a phone get left behind the lady that answered the phone didn't even answer the question she was very rude to me saying like we're closed we can't do nothing for you and I said ma'am that is not what I asked you I asked was there a phone left behind so she says hold on she says yes there's a phone left here but we're closed if you're not nearby there's nothing we can do I said ma'am we're right here she says we'll just pull up to the door I guess so we pull up to the door I'm thinking lights are off people are gone she's the only one there and she still has over 2 lines that are full of people that haven't even been checked out yet but she wanted to get an attitude because we left her phone behind you had to open the doors anyway to let the people out so it just kind of threw me off that you know she was...
Read moreHobby Lobby Stores have an excellent selection of wares and craft goods. Sales are good and regular prices fair. But wait for a sale. This store has a very helpful staff. Carefully examine your item for damage or blemish. I bought a display case, but the first one I looked at was broken along the bottom edge (an acrylic case). I found one in good shape. I also bought a 32x40 foam board. It was blemished on both sides. A helpful associate was able to clean one side (a surface mark), but the other side was rashed. It was the only one that size and thickness. The register manager marked it down 40%. I was satisfied. So in conclusion, Hobby Lobby is a great store. This one has excellent employees who value their customers. Just examine your items carefully, and if it's damaged and there is not another same item available, but you can get by with the damage, ask a manager for a price mark down. It's cheaper to sell at a reduction rather than the store return it to the distributor. Use smart business sense. I recommend any...
Read moreSo disappointed with this company's policy today. I purchased a few items and within a few days the price dropped quite a bit so by returning and having a price adjustment or returning and repurchasing, I would get about $20 back. The items are acrylic reindeer and we were warned at purchase that the antlers often break off, many customers have returned them as a result. My mother took the receipt to the store along with the item tags as opposed to the reindeer and tags, waited in line, and they refused the adjustment / return and repurchase. It is the company and store's policy you must bring the item back in with the tag. This has zero benefit to the store, but we would risk the item breaking with transporting them two more times. They would not accept showing them the item on the website (which includes the item number). Calling customer service did not result in any further resolution either. Just wanted to warn others and hopefully save...
