Extremely disappointed with the operating hours at this lounge. We arrived with our Priority Pass membership expecting to use the facilities before our evening departure, only to discover they close at 3:30 PM. This makes absolutely no sense when many flights from Maui depart after 3 PM, including ours at 6:15 PM. The staff informed us that this is their standard schedule, but it essentially makes the lounge useless for a significant portion of travelers. Our Priority Pass membership, which we pay for specifically to access lounges during long travel days, was completely worthless at this airport. For an airport that serves as a major hub for evening departures to the mainland, closing the only Priority Pass lounge mid-afternoon is poor planning. Travelers are left with limited food options and nowhere comfortable to wait during what can be several-hour layovers. Hawaiian Airlines needs to reconsider these hours to actually serve their customers' needs rather than just their own convenience.

It's alright. A/C and free drinks & snacks. Better than waiting outside.

What a disappointment! When we checked in, we were told there were soft drinks, coffee and light snacks. “Light” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Basically, they served tiny bags featuring a mix of pretzels, honey sesame sticks and cheddar corn sticks. The soft drinks were Coke products, and there were coffee and tea options. Oh, and did I mention they have an ice machine? That just about covers it. It is air conditioned (I thought it was actually chilly) and clean plus they offer WiFi. The lounge itself is not a big area by any means, but there are plenty of places to plug in your devices. If you need to use the restrooms, though, you’ll have to leave the lounge. If you’re hoping to get a bite to eat before your flight, this is not the lounge for you. Don’t rush to the airport. And stop at a restaurant along the way. Note: I used my Priority Pass to gain access (a waste of 2 visits since my wife was with me as well), so I didn’t pay directly to access the lounge. Thank goodness!

If I could give it minus 5 stars I would ! I had a regrettable experience at the Hawaiian lounge during my recent visit. The two hostesses on duty displayed a disappointing lack of professionalism and courtesy. From the moment I entered, it was clear that they were disinterested in providing a welcoming atmosphere. Not a single smile or even hello !

To make matters worse, their inability to effectively handle the American Express Platinum Priority Pass entry process was both frustrating and puzzling. Their lack of knowledge and apparent unwillingness to assist left me feeling disappointed with the service I received.

In the hospitality industry, exceptional customer service is key, and unfortunately, the hostesses fell far short of that standard. A warm and accommodating environment should be the norm for a lounge, but my experience was marred by their unprofessional behavior.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the glaring issues in their staff’s conduct and service delivery. It’s my sincere wish that future visitors are spared from the same subpar treatment that I encountered.

This is what happens when you are hiring lazy people …I had a blast in Hawaii and I am leaving with a...

Short story- Pellet ice. The end.

TLDR Long story: Don't expect food. After that, it's just fine! Faster wifi than the free at the airport Free soda. Anywhere I dont have to pay for soda is ok by me. If you can get to the loungy seats in back, you're going to have a way better experience than the tables. There's a TV, but it isn't on. No one seems to care as they're watching on their phones or connecting with people around them. The current staff while we're here has been pleasant and basically background. We were in here 2 hours since we were told to be here early, but really, it wasn't that bad. It was nice to charge my phone without fighting for a plug and a seat at the same time. If my kids had been with us, it would have been nice because they would have been somewhat contained.

I know some places are lovely and give you nice things. This is bare bones, but in reality, having somewhere comfortable to sit with a cold, refreshing beverage was just fine for me. Maybe it's just not so bad for me and my not as...

I had a disappointing experience at the VIP lounge of OGG airport. Despite being told by Candy that the waitlist was 30-45 minutes, my companions and I placed our names on it and returned after one hour only to find out that our names were not on the waitlist anymore. Candy, a Hawaiian airlines employee, then told us that the wait was still 45 minutes, leaving us feeling confused and frustrated.

What was even more frustrating was that we noticed people walking in without checking and the employees didn't even stop them, while they were pretending to be working on their computer, I wonder why the waitlist wouldn’t move up. To top it off, the two employees we dealt with were rude and dismissive, which made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

Overall, I was deeply disappointed by the poor customer service and lack of professionalism displayed by the Hawaiian airlines employees at the VIP lounge. I would not recommend this lounge to anyone and hope that the airline takes steps to improve their service quality...
