Frankly Gourmet — Restaurant in Maui

I would not recommend going here!:) When asked if they had a menu, they said no. And when I asked what they served they said only hotdogs and cold sandwiches in the freezer even though the advertised nachos as well. The staff was a bit rude to both me and other customers there. Maui is such a wonderful place and this should not be a good option that represents it. It definitely puts a bad taste in your mouth and leaves you feeling unwelcome. I hope that people do stop going here so that a resturant that is more representative of hawaiis culture can be there and that this one can either improve or shut down.

Additionally, i see in photos that there was at one time a menu. I believe today that the staff was lazy and did not want to put it out so that they only had to make hot dogs and no toppings except for ketchup and mustard were available. I do hope a manager sees this...

If I could give a 0 star that would be the truth! I was purchasing one of their overpriced Gatorades so I could ask them to fill my thermos with hot water so I could warm my baby bottle. Before I had even been able to say hello to the person “working” at the till, she rudely just says put your purchase on the stand which is an automated check out. I then asked her if she could fill my thermos and she said no for sanitary reasons which was no problem. I then asked if I could get just a paper cup of hot water and she said no…then said well actually sure but it will be $3.75. Are you kidding me?! I said but it’s just water can I pay for the cup, she came back snappy. I can imagine she has never been stuck in this position as she was the rudest person. Won’t ever go back although I used to get my food there every time I was in that airport. Bad...

this small hot dog / comfort eats spot is after TSA checkpoint, so if you're hungry...this is place where you grab food to eat at your departure gate or onboard.

the menu is primarily "gourmet" hot dogs, nachos, and other eats.

i'll be honest. the prices are WAAAAAY too high even for decent airport food. $6-$10 hot dogs? $4-$5 Dasani waters? $8 microwave nachos? i'm gunna pass on all three.

go to Burger King--it's after TSA, too. same quality or better food and cheaper.
