Burger King — Restaurant in Hawaii

Update: 11/22/19 An HMS Host Corporate Representative contacted me after I made a formal complaint. I was refunded both transactions, and provided with $40 in gift cards to any BK, and $30 in Comp Cards to use at HMS Host operated locations during travels.

11/14/19 I get off my 5.5 hour flight from Kahului, to discover that the restaurant did not refund my approximately $17, they instead have charged me another $16.96 and the never provided me with an order. The incompetence is mindblowing, contacted HMS host, let's see how long it takes to do their job. Experienced some of the worst service 10 minutes ago, executed by one manager, observed by another manager. What happened.....you wonder? I asked for a triple whopper with cheese and bacon to be cut in half. Yes that's right...instead of cutting the sandwich in half, they refund my $17. I go up the concourse get 2 great paninis, no biggie for me. Yet I am left with a bitter taste in my mouth after an awesome trip, all because of uncaring, unprofessional people. i am going to make the bold proclamation that this is the best place to eat in this Maui airport because guess what? it is (and i said so). the food might be more expensive than your typical BK, but guess what it's still way less expensive than eating at other food court options or sit-down restaurants in the airport. the KING rules over the food court!

it's simple: there's an order counter. you order. they cal your number. fini. there's no mobile ordering, here, so forget about using the app.

the food? consistently good whether you need a snack or a whole meal. there's always a line, but it moves fast. i've seen more pilots order here than other places in the airport. i trust pilots and so should you because they can fly yo...and you + i can't. lol. so yeah, bypass the $7+ hotdogs and mediocre doughy pizza elsewhere--and stuff your face with onion rings + whoppers and mo'!

Going into this review I had low expectations and they we're quite accurate. First off the service was awful the lady running the register tried to scan and charge me for the water if she had succeeded this would only get one star. The pH of the dihydrogen monoxide here is neutral as expected. The taste was awful it came out the same faucet as the unsweetened tea and I had to drink it out of a cheap paper cup which only enhance my poor experience. The taste at first is non existent but then in an instant i get a bad aftertaste of paper cups and bitter tea. i do not recommend you drink water here you will regret it. 2 stars SAD!
