Maui Macaroons — Local services in Maui

I can honestly say that this is one of roughly three reviews I've ever left for anything, and I felt compelled to do so once I read the negative review written prior to this. I have been a loyal consumer of this business for years, and to suggest that these cookies are anything less than amazing is not only inaccurate, but potentially detrimental to a small company trying very hard to succeed--which apparently some people couldn't care less about if their cookies left them empty and longing for more out of life. If you are in search of a dessert that truly represents Hawaii, you can't go wrong with any of the options, but the pineapple macaroon in particular will change the way you view all lesser cookies. I hope that this will help new customers overlook the complaining "reviewer" who spoke badly, because I assure you it will be your loss...

Let me start by saying that I have never 'loved' macaroons or really ever craved them. Having said that, my best friend had a variety of macaroons sent to me and I was simply astounded by the flavor, texture and freshness of these amazing reminders of Maui! The 8 for $88 Special is a great deal and I ordered some to bring to Thanksgiving and share with my family. They too, were stunned by the quality and freshness of the macaroons. (I hate to admit it, but I only brought 6 varieties to the family gathering because I wanted to save some just for myself! Don't judge-- they are that delicious.) My favorite flavors are 'Dark & Salty', 'Fresh Pineapple', and 'Kona Two-Chocolate Mac Nut'. One last thing to share-- The customer service and communication is top-notch. Lori really does a great job all...

these are the most delicious cookies!! i enjoyed them soo much that i had to buy more and give them as gifts! my friends who received them were delighted, especially to be getting something made with fresh ingredients from Maui!! also, i was pleasantly surprised as to how great they taste right out of the freezer (my eyes were bigger than my stomach ... bought more than i could eat so quickly)! you’ve gotta try these ~ they really are “the best coconut cookies...
