Supermercado Pueblo — Local services in Mayagüez

Lovely and respectful staff with a few exceptions. They still clean the shopping carts, good! Nice fresh food at the bistro. Good fresh sushi everyday! Maybe not the cheapest prices but you cant have everything right! Good lighting and organization through the whole store. Bad thing: the baker consistently overcook the Cidrines fresh bread and We dont like burnt bread. After many complaints the problem is still there and we have to stop for bread somewhere else. Other than that this is a great clean and safe place to shop. Great variety of products. Parking and location are perfect. It's definitely a must when in the vicinity. The only negative is that the air conditioning its set at like 60 degrees and walking from a warm street around 85 degrees at night to a place that cold, it's a not a pleasant experience. Maybe a wind blowing door to keep a more stable temperature inside, maybe a damper in the ac pipes to redirect the flow. Pueblo is a beautiful, clean, spacey grocery store which has just about anything you could want. However, the prices are insanely high!! I wasn’t particularly paying attention to the prices (my bad) and grabbed what I would normally buy at home for a week. I expected to pay around $200, but it was a whopping $300!!
