El Cine Mayagüez Town Center — Local services in Mayagüez

It's the cheapest theater around, even cheaper if you're a student. It also allows you to pay with Credit Cards or ATM Cards, unlike Caribbean CInemas, which I think is a big plus since I don't always carry cash. It has five theaters, the middle one being the biggest and fancier one with very comfortable seats. Sadly, a lot of those seats also need fixing. I like it because of its closeness to the university. It only has 5 rooms but they always make sure to have the best movies of the moment. They have remodeled very nicely and now have a food and drink bar with very nice drinks both non and alcoholic and a nice selection of finger food and snacks to wait for a movie. The staff is always attentive and fast. The only thing I dislike is that the tickets are paper so you don't get to keep em for long like the normal movie tickets which I really wish they'd...

Nice place with comfy seats. Staff is nice and the whole buying a ticket and snacks process is rather quick. They do this thing where both things are done in the same booth and it's convenient not having to do 2 separate lines. The prices are quite reasonable and the screen is pretty big.
