My spouse and I went here to ask about the cards we have been collecting.
The moment we walked in, we did not feel welcomed nor were we greeted.
The co-owner was present and was engaging in a conversation with another customer.
We were not asked if we needed assistance, we were stared at.. Until we asked for help, the co-owner did not excuse himself from the conversation but was really dismissive toward us. When we asked if he could glance through our cards, he said did not want to take away from all the customers.. The store was not busy, as mentioned he was talking to a friend.
Even after the dismissive behavior, we took our time leaving the store, and suddenly the Co-owners conversation began to grow louder, he and his friend were Trump suppoters..
Despite our political affiliation and beliefs, we were card hunters that day.
I realized now that I write this the rude dismissive behavior toward us or the glares had not to do with us as customers, or with our baseball cards.. His rude dismissive behavior was because he was letting his political affiliation be known and creating a hostile environment.
