I’ve shopped at Luka a few times now and I’ve always been pleased with my experience as a customer. However, today’s visit was very disappointing with the customer service I received. I walked in and couldn’t find an employee who was actively working the sales floor, I had to ask the young lady who was leaning against the display if she worked here (it was hard to tell from how disengaged she was). I also had to ask her about the KS promotion, she didn’t know there was a promotion running for Memorial Day Weekend and had to ask someone up front if this was accurate and if they’d honor it - they said yes. (As Kendra Scott being one of the biggest lines offered at Luka, it’s hard to believe a promotion like this wasn’t known by employees and especially it being after 1PM on a Sunday! *Promotion started Saturday. After me asking is when I heard them starting to tell customers who were around the KS area about the sale). I followed up with asking if they would be able to look up a product that I was interested in buying, but very short and rudely she said “everything we have is on display.” As a customer, I feel the right approach could have been more helpful and at least heard me out of what I was looking for, instead of immediately dismissing me. Then it came down to checkout, I gave her my phone number and she claimed she couldn’t find my account, I told her I shopped here before and she gave a very confused and odd face, which was just adding to the bad experience. I then asked the cashier what the return policy was and very unnecessarily aggressive and rude states that “we don’t give cash back”. Again, I’m not upset at the policy, I’m upset at the tone and delivery of the communication. I almost wanted to respond to her by saying “thanks, it was just a question.” Instead I said “good to know.” Then she fails to give me my receipt, I had to ask for it and she was like “didn’t I just give it to you?”(Again, rude.) I’m like “no, you asked me to sign a copy.” And then to top off this whole experience the packaging that was given to me!!! I spent near $100 just to receive two boxes that came banged up with creases and dents. Read moreI’m not really a reviews person on google- but after seeing the average for this shop (& some of the other reviews🙄), as a small business owner myself I wanted to share my experience. I don’t live in Texas and I’ve never even heard of this shop. I actually live across the country and found it by chance in a google search for small boutiques/gift shops that carry Brumate. I’m a crazy tumbler/cup girl and missed the launch for one I really wanted. It’s sold out everywhere and literally being sold on eBay for as much as $200 per usual. But I happened to find one here at retail price & was probably way too excited. Anyway, initially I thought it had to be a scam or a knock off- this thing is impossible to find, but the site looked totally legitimate and normal so I placed my order. This was on the 6th, it was supposed to arrive on the 12th. It ended up coming yesterday on the 9th, three days early on the east coast! Read moreReally deserves 0 stars. Buyer beware!!! I have bought many pieces here. Mainly Kendra Scott. One day I purchased two other items as well. One necklace I bought broke the first time I used it. I took it in and and asked for a repair or exchange. They kept it for three months without so much as a phone call. When I returned it was to exchange a gift and I was told that I could only get store credit. So... I was given back my broken necklace and they wouldn't even allow me to get a refund on the new one, claiming store policy. From now on I'm buying my Kendra Scott online or in San Antonio where you can at least get markdowns/discounts and there is more of a variety. While looking for the new piece I had the one sales rep following me as if I was going to take something! I have never been more offended! It was a real joke. Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service.
