Originally from NE Florida, I arrived in the RGV back in the Mid-1980s to further My Career in the Maritime Industry. Even though I ventured to the Mountains of NC to the Caribbean Islands for 9+/- years of those 4 Decades, The Valley was My Home up until I went back home to My Home State only a couple of years ago and Hidalgo County was where it was happening. I recently came for a visit to Tie-Up some loose ends, extend a Final Farewell (in-person) to some Very Special & Trusted Folks in SPI, Brownsville, Harlingen, Pharr-Out & McAllen & I am Quite pleased to have Visited &: ENJOYED the Bourbon Street Grill TWICE! So my wife worked here n she was fairly new. They have not updated their prices on their brunch menu and the manager was telling her to sell them at $8 when the menuvsaid $4. So she was trying to explain the prices to a older lady who was mad saying they were $4. Then her manager came up and comped the entire food order and then they had her work an entire shift the next day just to fire her over the comped food order saying she was intoxicated. My guess is the manager robert was too lazy to take the time out of his day to fix the problem and didn't want to explain to the gm why he comped it when there was no reason. I've been with my wife for 14 years and could clearly tell she was not intoxicated at 11 am.
