Extremely frustrated that I canceled my reservation before the 24 hour time limit which is stated that you can receive a refund if done so. Multiple phones calls with the same individual from twisted limits saying they have forgot, haven’t gotten to it, will do it today, we will call you back when we do it later so you know, to finally have to go through my bank to dispute the charge to get my money back 20 days later. Not to mention on the last phone call when I stated my name the individual decide to joke saying “oh my god seriously you’re starting to be a pain in my a$$” then proceeded to say it was a joke and that they have not done it yet and will do it today, which they did not do still. After 2 weeks of calling and still not getting a refund that I’m entitled too is not the time to make a statement like that to a customer. We made a reservation to take the family (adult kids) for axe throwing while they were in town for the holiday.

Our reservation happened to be during the blizzard, and it was awesome that they stayed open for us.

Location in McHenry has plenty of parking and is very nicely set up.

There are soft refreshments available on-site and BYOB if you like.

The owner met us at the door, set up our lanes, and showed us the how-to of axe throwing. It was not hard to pick up for most of our party, and when I was struggling, the owner came over and helped me get the technique down.

We played multiple games. Bowling, tic-tac-toe, zombie hunter all within an hour time.

This was a wonderful time! Recently saw the billboard in McHenry and decided to stop in - well work the time! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome and ready for some fun! The overview of how to use the high tech game options was top notch. Plus, all of the pointers that were giving in the safety overview as well as the following assistance of your throwing was amazing. Thanks to those tips, we went from axes bouncing to the floor - to hitting the zombie bullseye every time! Owners have put alot of thought into this experience and it is clear they care!
