Stay away from this place. Their patient care is horrible.
Flag #1: I set up my first appointment to see Dr. Kidd for infertility issues (per my friend's referral) and when I showed up to my first visit, I was informed that it cancelled because she had to go do an emergency C-section, which is completely understandable. I was rescheduled for another day to see Dr. Kidd and when I showed up, I found out I was not going to be seeing Dr. Kidd at all and was re-assigned to midwife Liz Marley. When the mid-wife came into the room, there was no explanation that I would not be seeing Dr. Kidd and only halfway through our conversation, did she tell me what her title was. I initially thought it was a nurse doing an initial consult before the doctor comes in. I thought that this was inconsiderate, considering they rescheduled me due to Dr. Kidd's schedule only to have me be seen by another provider. What's the point of rescheduling?
Flag #2: After I finished up with Liz Marley in the room, I was informed to go to the scheduling desk to have my next visit scheduled. The girl who works at the scheduling desk was so disinterested and rude. From past experiences, there's usually communication between the provider and scheduling to let them know what day I need to come in again. Instead, I walk up to the scheduling personnel and she said what day are you coming back? I knew it was cycle day 21 that I would come back but I had not calculated what day it was so I had to take my calendar out to count the days. The scheduler seemed annoyed that I did not know right away.
Flag #3: I had bloodwork done during my first appointment and I was told I would hear back in a couple of weeks. A couple of weeks passed by and still no information was uploaded onto the portal or phone call. I left a message and that's when I finally got my results back. Communication is very poor with this office
Flag #4: The office does not consistently use the portal to upload lab results. At one point, I received a message from the mid-wife Liz Marley through the portal telling me that my progesterone level came back at a higher level. I inquired what that level specifically was and the response I got back was "9.8 I think". This is so unprofessional, I should be able to get my exact results, not what she thinks it is. I asked if the actual lab value could be uploaded onto the portal but she said it couldn't and requested I come into the office to get the paperwork physically. By the way, it was NOT 9.8.
Flag #5: After four months of repeating progesterone level day 21 and still not falling pregnant with use of clomid, I was never provided with any additional consultation with the provider or work-up. No ultrasounds were done, no treatment modifications, nothing. This is when I finally gave up and decided to look elsewhere.
Flag #6: I needed to get my husband's semen analysis from when it was conducted back in November 2017 to provide to my new doctor. I called 3 days in a row and each day, I was directed to a voicemail. First day, medical records. Second day, office manager. Third day, results nurse. No one called me back. I did get a message from Liz Marley indicating I could pick up the copy of the analysis in person but when I called to verify if that wouldn't be a problem, no one could give me the answer and that's when I was routed to the results nurse voicemail. Liz Marley then sent me another message indicating that I ask the original clinic who did the analysis to send me the results. I don't understand why it was so difficult to get the results from the office when the office is the one who communicated the information to me.
Overall, I have had several unpleasant experiences with this office. Communication is poor, the portal is not used to its full capacity and it seems I have to beg to get results of any lab work done, and the personnel is unhelpful.

Read moreThis is Kylee Cantrell. I am not making a google account to leave a review for this office.
I have been going to this office for about a year now and usually have a decent experience. Today was flat out terrible. First, they called me the day prior to my appointment to move my appointment up and make it earlier. I thought that's nice they're planning ahead, no problem, my appointment is now at 11:30. I arrive 10 minutes early to my appointment and watch every single person who came in after me go in to see their doctor. Now it's after 11:50 and I am still in the lobby. The ultrasound tech finally calls my name and I go in LATER than my original appointment time. So, I left work 30 minutes early because they moved my time up only for me to sit in the lobby the entire time and wait passed my original appointment time!!! Why call me in early?! Why did I leave work early for my appointment to be later than my original one?
Then I go in and I knew I wasn't going to see my doctor, but I instead saw Dr. Kidd. Never in my life do I ever care to see this woman again. She was rude, rushed me out of there, and the whole 5 minutes was extremely unpleasant to say the least. She had a horrible attitude problem and flat out acted like there was anywhere else she would rather be. That's all it was too, was 5 minutes with this woman.
Then I go to schedule my next appointment. I was told every four weeks I will see the doctor and have an ultrasound, the paper they gave me even says for my next visit to schedule a sonogram. So I ask the lady for their latest appointment because clearly they don't follow their own schedule and I don't want to miss an extra hour of work to sit in a lobby. Then I realize my husband won't be able to attend at that time and I don't want him to miss the ultrasound so I apologize and say I actually do need another lunch appointment instead. All within about 1 minute. I can't describe the disgust and attitude of this sloppy young girl booking my appointment. You would have thought I was asking the absolute worst thing possible. She literally rolled her eyes and scoffed with disgust for having to click a few more buttons. She then makes my lunch appointment and tells me there won't be an ultrasound. WHY WOULD MY HUSBAND GO TO SEE ME TALK TO THE DOCTOR FOR 5 MINUTES?!?!? I just clearly explained I wanted the lunch time so my husband could come to the ultrasound!!!! The doctors appointment part isn't the least bit informative, this time she didn't examine me she simply reviewed the ultrasound report, and asked how I was feeling and said I was doing fine and have a nice day. Without the ultrasound report she would have had nothing to discuss because she clearly did not care.
Bottom line it was hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Every single person was rude, rushing you out of there, and down right miserable. I found out later they closed at 12:00, so I am assuming everyone's terrible attitude is they wanted to leave for the weekend. I was walking out at 12:40 only because they made me wait in the lobby so it's YOUR fault I'm leaving late and you're stuck here. I did my part, I came in to the adjusted time, I even came in early and now you're going to be rude to me because you want to leave?? There is no excuse. This was down right inconsiderate of every person involved, unprofessional, and just a miserable experience.
I am already 20 weeks pregnant and don't want to go through the stress of getting a new doctor. I do like my doctor Dani Steininger, and she's the only reason I will finish my pregnancy here. If I wasn't halfway through my pregnancy I would switch in a heartbeat.
I still will not recommend this office to...
Read moreThe prenatal care at Adriatica is wonderful! Being my first pregnancy, I didn’t know what to expect. All of the nurses and doctors were kind and caring. I felt very cared for and that any of my concerns were taken seriously and addressed. I absolutely loved Adriatica for my prenatal care.
However, they do NOT take that same care when it comes to postpartum care. Because of this, if you are a first time mom, I would say do NOT come here even though the prenatal care is phenomenal.
After I gave birth, I was neglected and ignored. After how I was treated during my pregnancy, I assumed that amount of care would follow into my postpartum care. Unfortunately, it did not.
My delivery did not go as planned and I had to have an emergency c-section in which other complications made for a traumatic experience.
I was not scheduled a 2 week postpartum appointment after a c-section, only scheduled a 6 week postpartum appointment. I didn’t know I was supposed to have one since it was not scheduled. When I found out it was standard to have a 2 week appointment, I called Adriatica and advocated to have such an appointment and finally got one.
Before my 6 week appointment, I hurt my abdomen and c-section area. I called about the pain after a week and they did try to get me in ASAP which I appreciated. At that appointment, my doctor did check me out and came to the conclusion that I just pulled a muscle that was still healing.
When we talked about my mental health, I brought up some of the trauma I experienced when giving birth, she was very dismissive. As if I was exaggerating until I told her what actually happened. Then I think she understood but the initial judgment was very discouraging and disappointing when she didn’t take my mental health seriously.
At my 6 week appointment, I brought up concerns of urinary incontinence. The nurse practitioner stated she’d run a urine test. However, the test was never ordered and my urine sample was thrown out. I had no idea until I called a week and a half after not hearing from them. I was advised that nothing was done and I would need to come back in to leave another sample if I wanted to have the test done.
By this time I had done some research, since no one would help me. I believe I have pelvic floor dysfunction. The nurse I spoke with agreed and offered a referral for pelvic floor physical therapy if I wanted it.
I took it upon myself to ask for the urine test first to rule out an infection, to ensure I wouldn’t be going to physical therapy for nothing if I really did have an infection.
I spoke to the same nurse regarding my results. She said she’d let one of their administration personnel know of my postpartum experience so they can reach out to me as they take their care for patients seriously and wanted them to hear how I was treated. I never received any contact. They didn’t care.
With all of the issues I’ve had with my postpartum care, I would not recommend Adriatica if you’re a first time mother as you may have postpartum issues that need to be addressed but won’t be.
But if you’re not a first time mother and know how to take care of yourself postpartum without any assistance, I would recommend Adriatica for their amazing prenatal care.
I do want to give credit to the nurses and front office staff. The office staff were always warm and welcoming. Every time I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and they made checking in and checking out a breeze. The nurses were very kind and caring. One even came outside to help me with my car seat and another held my son throughout the appointment that I spoke about my mental health and was crying. They...
