Dont shop at Luv your bed in mckinney. These people think they are tryna get over on people. The Niko guy told me the bed was $399 and the original price is $1698 and the vendor they use discounting is by 50%. They are going to discount it additional 70%. So the caculations werent adding up. Niko said i dont understand how you confused about the calculations and was laughing. He called the owner over. The owner said around these lines of you just want it cheaper and told me I can go try to find it cheaper from someone else and waved his hand. I said excuse me. I said I was genuinely confused. I told him he shouldn talk to a customer like that. He was like im the owner of the store. I said that still doesnt justify the behavior. He was like just leave the store. I told them well you just lost a sale because I was going to buy the bed , just needed clarification. While im walking out. He said its always something with your kind. I said what because im black? I can tell something was off with the manager because he wasnt forthcoming when I was there. Didnt greet me , just stayed at his desk.
In response to the owner: I did not come in there like I owned the place. I came in very respectful and plus I had my daughter with me. You didnt know anything until your employee called you over from you being outside. He made the statement she believes im not giving her 70% and laughed. All I asked was for him to explain the calculations. I was genuinely confused as I stated to you. You can lie to save face but I had someone on the phone while I was in the store when he said what he said and when you said what you said about your kind. Others have had a similar experience with you. In the future treat your potential clients with respect. Dont assume they cant afford anything or want something cheaper because they ask for clarification on the offer that is being presented. You all didnt expect me to calculate the amount but I did. I just moved to McKinney from Chicago. With all my relatives wanting to visit to escape the cold or see Dallas for the first time, I created my first-ever guest room. I needed a mattress.
I surveyed several prospective guests. They all said they wanted a traditional mattress--one without memory foam. So I spent an entire morning and afternoon going to all the chain mattress stores.
The experience was worse than buying a car from a used car dealer. Some swore that all mattresses had memory foam in them. Others told me that "no one who knows anything about mattresses would buy one of those." Others kept asking me whether I was a side sleeper, etc., despite my telling them--many times--that such questions were irrelevant, since the mattress was for a guest room. In several cases, they wanted me to wait to speak to the manager so that I could get "the best deal."
After telling my girlfriend that I was giving up, she did some internet research and found Love UR Bed Mattresses. After some convincing on her part, I decided to go.
As soon as I walked in, I was glad I did. Gene asked me what I wanted, then showed me a few models. I tried them out. I picked a Sealy Posturepedic. He quoted me a great price. I accepted. The entire buying decision took me less than two minutes.
My first guests have already tried the new mattress. They loved it.

Read moreI purchased my bed on Saturday October 30, 2021, set it up that night slept on was very comfortable thought I had purchased my comfy love ur bed, next night I saw a dip in it light it was sunk in! So ignore it then Monday look and sunk in was still there now I am only 165 lbs and this should not be happening on a firm bed! Then Tuesday granddaughter came in sat in it got and said am I that heavy your bed is denting in I said I thought it was! So I called Gene to let him know now I have only had my bed 4 days and this is happening! Seems he ignore me sent him pictures which I know you have to actually see it in person! He did not return my call! So I called him again on Thursday he did not sound like he wanted to help said he would get with his finance guy are something I said okay I will wait to hear back from you! Have nothing heard anything yet! Now I am suppose to have a ten year warranty on this mattress and I have not even gotten a thirty day out of it! I know others have given him good reviews and I hate that I am the one to have to post a negative review! At this point I do not luv my bed! And not refer anyone else to him! Very helpful in the store once you purchase not helpful at all! I sure hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else and if I am ask I would not be able to advise anyone to buy from him!
