On one visit about 2 months ago, I have witnessed the cook go open the freezer door go inside to get products out and returned back to the prep station to make food...All using the same gloves! I asked if they can change the gloves before they prepped my food...and when I mentioned it...I was basically ignored as if it was no problem what they were doing. The Hostess was nice about the situation and tried to make some excuse for the kitchen crew...and asked if they can change gloves(after my food was made) I seriously question if the sanitation here is up to Code from just seeing that alone. Not to mention my order was wrong...and they just simply stated ...oh we're out of shredded chicken. I think that would be something to say before I've paid my money...smh.
Upon a more recent visit...to try and redeem for another attempt. I tried to watch very closely as they prepped my food to make sure no obvious cross contaminating was taking place...but they hid well behind the counter...so you really dont know if clean gloves are being used or not...There was ABSOLUTELY no flavor to the steak tacos I ordered..NONE. in my opinion, there are too many inconsistencies in how the food is prepared because 2 other guest before me had to put table salt on their Tacos...and Yes, they were awfully bland when I got mine and tasted. One of the cooks tells me... nobody else complained (after saying he's not a Chef)...just not the best customer service, Which I'm okay with cause I prefer they keep it real with me. The owners could really use a suggestion box for Feedback...Cause I'm certainly not one wanting to complain...just want these establishments to start accepting the feedback as not complaints, try to better accommodate the consumer and provide good quality service/food. I probably will not come back here...or the other dozen of my family and friends that visit here.

Read moreToday 8/8/2025 we pre-ordered our food from Mr. Tako, which we order every week. We ordered 3 Asada fries, which one was without Jalepenos. The fries were dry and hard and not edible once we started to eat our food, which was not the first time. We did not have the melted cheese that normally comes on them, just pick shredded cheese and dry meat. I called and spoke to Thao and expressed my frustration about this being the second time this has happened within a week and I ordered via restaurant last Saturday 8/2/2025 Asada fries (disgusting) and 3 Birria tacos with consome for $27.02 and my fries where overcooked and the consome was only enough for 1 taco. Thao was kind enough to get the UNPROFESSIONAL manager FRANK on the phone, who could care less about my frustration and could care less about why I was so disappointed that he stated "Are you finished talking so I can talk?" I proceeded to continued talk, because don't cut me off until I am done. Frank hung up the phone in my face due to me speaking to my guy to speak with him, due to Frank being being disrespectful. Frank begin to say I was yelling, which I was not and he continued to be rude and stated for us to bring the food back whenever and he will leave a note for a refund. Frank proceeded to state they care about there regular customers 😒 definitely a lie when we spend $45-$60 each time we come, which is weekly. Frank the UNPROFESSIONAL manager stated that we could bring the food back anytime and a refund would be given even when I offered to send photos of the overcooked dried out fries. I am not the one to write reviews, but when I know I am a long time customer and you disrespect me and show me you don't care. I most definitely take my hard earned money elsewhere to spend it. Remember if you order Asada fries, don't let the look of them deceive you, because under those fries are hard and dried out with no melted cheese. Read moreJust had one of the worst experiences at Mr. Tako. While I think the food is amazing. The young guy that’s the manager has a very nasty and condescending attitude. I ordered the nachos and burrito.
Once I received my order, I noticed that the nachos didn’t have much cheese, at least not visible to the eye. I asked him if I could get some extra cheese, which I didn’t mind paying for. I lifted up all of the chips so he can see how dry the chips was. He then told me that all the cheese was on top, again not visible to the eye.
Second issue, we ended up biting into the burrito and to notice we only tasted veggies and rice. Open the burrito and there was hardly any meat inside. At that point I didn’t want the burrito anymore and I was going to order tacos. Never asked for my money back. I was gonna chalk that up as a loss and just order the tacos.
The manager was so nasty and rude. We ended up walking out, leaving all of the food. We asked him for his name, and he was unwilling to give his name. By this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever experienced from a restaurant.
However the young lady at the register was extremely nice. Ended up leaving her a tip.
