Everything at MerriArtist is first quality. I swear Amazon sells seconds. Everything at MerriArtist is new. For instance, I have tried buying paints at Amazon and most of the tubes look used. At MerriArtist, you can be sure of getting nice fat, undented tubes. Everything at MerriArtist is assuredly NOT counterfeit. I feel like I'm spinning the wheel whenever I buy from Amazon. At MerriArtist, you can reach a person on email or phone without having to get around a bot. And the person you talk to is an artist, knows the materials they carry, and is a huge resource for your needs. And they're happy to help! At MerriArtist, you get excellent packaging. My brushes and papers are perfectly packed and never bent. BTW, thanks for the rubber bands used for their clever brush packing. I really needed those for paint sorting. Oh and the price, very reasonable, and sometimes beats Amazon by quite a bit.

Every time I shop with MerriArtist I'm amazed. When I have questions about their products, they respond quickly with great information. They offer personalized service. They ship quickly. When the merchandise arrives, the items with a shelf life (e.g. paints) are obviously fresh stock, new condition and everything is well-packaged. And in many orders, no items were ever forgotten. But I know that if anything ever went amiss, they'd make it right.

In a sea of dull corporate mediocrity, they are like a beam of intense light. I am thankful for them.

Update: My most recent order had an item with a manufacturing defect. I wrote them and they said they'd ship a new one. Before I could say, "really, I want to try and fix it firrrr..." I saw the shipping notification come through for a replacement. It was all of about a 10-minute email interaction.

Oh how I love Dan, Tracy and the whole team! I have been going to the Merri Artist since I was a little girl because I make my own Swim-able Mermaid Tails that I sell and make. I got an an Airbrush kit last year for a Tail and I unfortunately clogged the darn thing because I obviously did not know what I was doing when it came to cleaning! Tracy! My lord and savior was on the phone with me for almost two hours to help me! She is amazing and so sweet, and even when I got some help, it never solved the issue so she took it upon herself to drive to Newberg to meet me and pick up my air brush kit and cleaned it herself!
