I will be a loyal customer here! Here's the story...We have been Verizon customers for over 10 years. I normally handle everything Verizon online or by phone. My husband and I were both due for an upgrade on our phones, so I called Verizon Customer Service and spoke with a young lady who was very helpful. I was torn between three different phones, and she recommended that we go into a Verizon store to try each of the phones before making a decision. I called the Verizon store closest to our house to find out if they had the three phones in stock. I was put on hold for a very short time while they checked their stock. They had all three phones, so we headed down to the store. We were greeted cheerfully by the entire staff. When we introduced ourselves and it was almost as if we were visiting a good friend. They made us feel at home and gave us their complete attention. We were able to try each phone and they patiently answered all of our questions, of which there were many! Miranda and her team were so helpful and once we had made our choice, they all helped us with transferring our data and setting up our new phones. She told us to "play" with the phones and make a list of questions about the how-to's and she and her team would show us how to work the phones. We each purchased a Bluetooth device and when I got home, a part was missing. I called and they ordered a new one, which arrived two days later. I could go on and on, but rather than do so, I am going to just praise the whole team at CellularSales and recommend them to everyone. I called around 8pm after waiting all day to potentially get a call concerning the new Pixel 6 Pro shipments coming in, but I hadnt heard anything. So i called just to see if they had any in stock, which they did. Drew informed me she would have been right on it calling me, so i know it wasnt her I talked to earlier today and yesterday. She got right to work to see how she could help me get the phone I wanted, and worked to make sure I knew how much I was paying with trade ins, and promos. I originally wanted the 512gb, which she said she would ask their inventory person if they could order it and call me back the next day.
Already a wonderful experience. Drew messages me probably not even 10 minutes later to inform me that they werent sure when the 512gb would be available, but we could do the 256gb now, and have it arrive in December due to googles lacking supply, understandable.
She was prompt, honest about prices, and plans, and broke down payments with the discounts and my monthly plan, all of which wasnt required. And remember how I said i called at 8pm? They close at 9, any other person would have shot down the request, and not done all of that work at the end of their day. Read moreIt took three visits to Verizon storefronts in order to achieve the customer service desired. While the team at Bridgeport Village in Tulaitin, OR was remarkable, the authorized retailer in McMinnville, OR left MUCH to be desired. My gf and I went to the McMinnville location on a Sunday, a couple days before the release of the HTC 10 and spoke with a gentleman (name unknown) about switching my gf's service from AT&T to my Verizon account along with acquiring the HTC 10. The following Friday we had heard nothing from the store. We followed up Saturday morning to inquire and we were told the order had been cancelled with no courtesy call, nothing. The only reason they could give us was that it wasn't our fault. We left with them re-ordering the phone again with a projected arrival date for the following Tuesday.
The next day we were in Tualatin and stopped through the Bridgeport Village Verizon retailer. Someway, somehow, they were able to accomplish the task that was impossible in McMinnville. They had a stock of HTC 10 available and we were out of that store within an hour with a new phone and line on my account.
The overall experience was frustrating, but thanks to the knowledgeable staff at Bridgeport everything worked out as intended. Do not expect good customer service at the McMinnville Verizon store. We still haven't heard about the phone that was supposed to have arrived the second time it...
