I shop here a lot with my kids and have found recently I am not welcome. First with the woman that got her coat stuck in my cart when she impatiently rushed by when I was peeling a cutie for my kids. She was incredibly rude after the accident. Red is great and is nice all the time and so are a few others. However another day my little one passed me blueberries and they dropped. I tried to pick up as many as I could before other customers rolled over them. 3 employees were in my sight and no one offered help. I was the. Approached rudely by an elder employee about them and she continued to talk loudly about the situation with a fellow employee in a dramatic type of way. I left holding back tears. Today I was paying for my groceryās my youngest Asleep on my shoulder my oldest in the cart she was standing. However an employee came up to her while my back is turned to tell her to sit down. We exchanged words and had she come up to me politely and talked to me the situation would have been different. I understand that the world is heavy right now and most people are incredibly grumpy. Taking their lives out on other people. My kids and I love grocery outlet as I shop for my home life and business here. Before I start ALL other grocery stores. Now feeling no longer welcome I will be driving to Lincoln city as much as I can from here on out to a staff that is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst - The Good. Been shopping at G-O since the beginning, up and down the west coast šItās essential to anyone that pays for their own groceries.
They always have a little bit of what you need, and a lot that you donāt, like blueberry flavored Frosted Flakes š
It can make for fun times, like when I bought a can of āBeansā for $0.25 with zero additional info on the label (true story, they turned out being garbanzo).
The service in Mac is friendly enough, I suppose. But youāre not going for the customer service. Above average beer and wine selection for cheap, which everyone loves.
As for the negativeā¦.lets be honest - we donāt wanna know how they sell stuff like ātri-tip steakā so cheaply 𤢠Iāve gotten fish that tasted like pork, and pork loin that tasted like hot dogs (avoid the pre-marinated meats at all costs).
Most of the produce has 48 hours left at most, so eat it quickly. Theres always quirky, uncommon snack foods to try - some are uncommon for a reason so beware š
Overall, G-O aināt perfect, but we damn sure need it. Keep up the good work everyone at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA great place for wine and snacks.
I wouldn't buy my meat here personally but Luna bars, fig bars, heat up burritos and that sort of thing its great!
They have lots of items that are gluten free and even egg free for those who have allergies.
Great value, brand name items, and quality pre-packed foods for a reasonable price.
Go here first before Safeway, Fred's, or Winco. In pretty much every case I saw I got it cheaper at Grocery Outlet then the other stores.
Then head over to the the other stores for the stuff you can't find / want here.
Still a pretty great place!
Hope this review...
