I thought i’d give this place a try, but I was so disappointed– I feel like I got scammed (lol). I would not recommend renting your snowboards and boots here. I feel as if they’ll give you any equipment just to make money. There really isn’t a lot of choices here either (e.g i asked for 140-143 but was given 135-138 after asking 3 times, but I thought “whatever, I can ride a shorter board, it’s fine”). I’m also not sure if they really know about binding angles, since I asked for +15, -15 and got +30 and something in the back. I think a lot of the equipment is old as well, the boots I was had fit fairly well at the store, but when I rode it down the slopes, it had absolutely no heel hold which is VERY dangerous when going down (you can definitely lose control and injure yourself if your boots do not have adequate support). I had to rent another set of boots and board at the ski resort I went to and basically wasted $86 renting here. I told the guy at the store and just chuckled at me, no apology, no refund. Save your money and don’t rent here. I recommend renting at the ski resort or even at The Ski Bum in Glenn Mills, they have way more newer equipment and the staff really takes the time and makes sure that your equipment and boots are the right...

Rude and unprofessional service would recommend you seek out the plenty of other options in the area. Came in to tune my ski in preparation of the new season. I’m new to the area and was really excited I have a local store close to home. First red flag at their quality of service came up when he did not ask for my boots. All of the shops I’ve been to always made sure the boots fit well with binding for the safety of their customers, not this one...and the disappointments did not stop there...

Agreed on picking up my skis on Wednesday before going on a ski trip to Vermont and last thing I expected showing up on Wed was to find out they unilaterally close the shop that day. As seemingly every store has run out through these crazy months, we have been scouring our area for a place to rent 4 pairs of skis and 2 snowboards for a planned weekend trip to the mountains. After asking some friends for advice, we were directed to these knowledgeable guys at Media Ski & Snowboard. They were able to get my entire party of 6 (2 children, 2 teenagers, 2 adults) EVERYTHING we needed for our upcoming ski trip. I won't lie, when we first pulled up, our expectations were not very high. But I was immediately delighted to see that they had a wide variety of not only skis & snowboards, but also a great selection of snow pants on the shelves - we had been searching everywhere for these! We were happily surprised to find out about their weekly rental pricing, the best rates we've come across anywhere. It's about a 25-30 minute drive for us, but we have unquestionably found our new go to spot for all of our winter sports needs,...
