I have only been learning how to sew for a few months, but in that time, Homesewn has been the store I’ve visited the most to get my fabric (and I’m very lucky to live within a 45 minute drive of many excellent fabric stores). One of my favorite things about this store is that I genuinely think they have the best website and they make it so easy to shop online, but my second favorite is that (to me) they simply just have the best fabric collection. I love Homesewn, and you can tell the owners have so much love for the store because you feel so much joy when you enter. Highly recommend you stop by and visit. Such a great store!! I work with both fabric and yarn so coming here was an absolute treat. Everyone working was SO nice, friendly, and helpful. The store is light and bright and I loved that they had something for every fiber artist. I came looking for KraeO yarn to check out in person, of which they had a nice selection amongst various other brands in great colors! They have a spectacular fabric selection, with modern and chic prints. My mom makes purses and was able to find so many great fabrics to use! Notions are a plenty and loved how cute everything was. Wow -- this is such a great addition to the area! I just visited today for the first time and was so impressed. There is a wall full of lots of fun fabrics neatly organized and rows of beautiful yarn -- some hand-dyed from a local source. There are also interesting little craft kits for sale -- embroidery, cross stitch, fabric dyeing, etc. And the owner offers various workshops and lessons in sewing, knitting, crocheting and even a little weaving. This is especially a great place to find one-of-a-kind crafting kits for kids and teens. Really lucky to have this gem of a shop in the area -- will return...
