6 years ago, I posted that Our High school class (1969) meets here once a month for breakfast. 6 years later, we're still meeting here once a month. It's still like a mini class reunion every month in the back banquet room. Patti always greets us, takes all of our orders, and NEVER gets it wrong! I really can't rave or complain about the food...after all, it IS breakfast. The eggs are done as ordered, the pancakes are generous, the bacon, sausage links and scrapple (yes...Habbersett)...is always right and to order. Hash towns (with or without onions) are awesome. It's not like we're ordering Beef Wellington or Lobster with a rich three-cheese sauce under a crunchy topping of panko and Parmesan. We're getting BREAKFAST...LOL. You know, we choose from say eggs, (any style), bacon, sausage, scrapple, or maybe pancakes or waffles, perhaps oatmeal...etc...breakfast. Why do we go there every month? Because the food we order is always good, the room is always set up and ready, the staff (especially, Patti) takes excellent care of us and we have a wonderful experience there each and every month, sharing a meal while reminiscing with many of our classmates! The Court Diner never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like family. The atmosphere is classic and comfortable—perfect for both a quick bite or a long sit-down meal with friends.
The food is always fresh, delicious, and served with generous portions. Breakfast is outstanding (the pancakes are fluffy and the omelets are loaded just right), and the lunch and dinner options have something for everyone. The daily specials are always worth checking out, and the desserts are homemade and absolutely delicious.
What really stands out is the consistency—you can count on great food and great service every single time. It’s clear that the staff take pride in what they do.
If you’re looking for a spot that captures the heart of a community diner—friendly faces, hearty meals, and a welcoming atmosphere—The Court Diner is the place....

For example, we ordered chicken pot pie which was a little chicken with gravy and canned (it seemed) veggies in a small bowl with some sort of puffy crust just laying on top if the bowl. You could take the crust off and just eat chicken veggie soup. How is that a pie if any sort? Both times we went we came away disappointed.
The service is on the slow side which, while it's nice not to be rushed, it's quite another thing to wonder if you've been forgotten. Nice staff, just leisurely in pace.
I kinda want to go back and order something else completely different just to see what they'll do to it. Or maybe I'll be surprised and eat something I can honestly...
