My experience at this salon was terrifying. I had went in to this salon to color my hair dark blue. I showed the stylist the color that I wanted and she brought out sample colors. We agreed on a dark blue one but when I left their salon, my hair was teal, rusty yellow, baby blue at the roots and green. The stylist asked me if I liked it and feeling bad I simply said "It wasn't what I expected." and left . As soon as I got into my car I called the salon and wanted to speak with the manager but she was not available and called me the next morning. I spoke with Melissa, whom is the manager at the Medina location and she did apologize for my experience but then quickly changed her attitude when I wanted a refund. She insisted they fix my hair but they were unwilling to work around my schedule. I advised that I would be willing to come in after my work shift at 8:30pm on a Friday to get this issue fixed but in Melissa's words "We close at 7pm so that is just not possible in our world." I kept on asking for a refund as I had to have my original stylist fix it the following morning (she literally woke up at 4:30AM, drove to her salon and fixed Kalla Lily's mistake- what a champ!) I was supposed to receive a response from Melissa the following week after she had to consult with her partner about a refund and this is the reply I get-
"I do apologize for the delay in my response. Thank you for sending over the pictures so I have a better picture of the end results. I am very sorry that you were not satisfied with your end results. It is my understanding that Barbara the stylist did confirm with you that the color would be lighter and that at the end you did tell her you were satisfied. With all that said you were obviously not satisfied which you expressed. I did say that we would have been more then willing, free of charge to you, to redo the color service to make you 100% satisfied. However due to time restrictions with your work schedule you were unable to come in however in the post you did have it redone in the morning time which I did tell you we could do for you. At this time we are not able to offer you a refund for our services since you were unable to come back in the salon and have us look at it in person. I can offer you a Complimentary Color Service in the future with another stylist such as Kendra, Tricia or Jackie that you have seen in the past and I assume you were satisfied with. Please let me know if you would like to reserve a color appointment with one of those stylists. Thank You"
Who in their right mind would ever walk into that salon ever again? I still demanded a refund in the amount of at least $125.00 because I do understand they need to get paid for the product that they used and still received no response. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and coming to find out from my posts that people responded to it is not uncommon for this place. Please do yourself a favor and do not go here. I would suggest Keri at The Style Room who made me very very happy with the end result and the actual color I wanted! She wanted to dye her hair dark blue, she is a beautiful African mix with very curly hair. She brought them in pictures of the color she wanted, the woman told her she could do it but that was a lie. She turned her hair greenish yellowish, blue greenish color making her look more like a treasure troll. She was so devastated that she did not at the time want this lady to screw her hair up anymore, she now didn't trust her, so she paid and left. When she got home she called and told the manager how disappointed and embarrassed she was by her hair and asked her for a refund, she said she was willing to pay for the product but wanted the rest of her money back. Kalla Lily Salon refused but told her to come back and they would fix it. Now they should have fixed it before she left the Salon. She said she did not want them to do any further damage to her hair and again asked for a refund. They still will not give her the money back. Before she went in to Kalla Lilly her hair was perfect. Now she's had to have it fixed twice. If you value your hair and the money you put into it DO NOT GO HERE!! RUN THE OTHER WAY. There are way to many Salons out there to waste your money here....
Read moreI went in for a brow lamination and wax. First timer to lamination. I arrived on time @ 3:30 for my appt. The aesthetician ran 30 min late. I said nothing and just waited. She proceeded to get my eyebrows done in 30 min even tho the appointment time should have been 1 hour. I felt she knew best. I didn’t wash my face or workout for 24 hrs as these were the after care instructions. My eyebrows did not change. I found she most likely under processed the lamination time. I paid 119.00 for nothing. They at best look fluffy but do not stand straight up and individually as they should. I called the salon as I felt I paid for something I did not get because it was rushed and I was there for one hour of my time. The manager as I explained this ended up laughing mid explanation. No idea what she found funny. She said so you want your money back? I said I don’t know what I want but I do know I can’t double process and have it re done and I paid for something I didn’t get. She said I’ll talk to my owner and call you back. Never heard from her and it has been 6 days. Word to the wise they will take your money but fall short on services and executing them...
