This is the third time I have been in the store. First time was when they first opened, was not impressed at all. I figured the amount of time has passed. Tried for a second time once again not impressed at all. The meat area is horrible and you know it's been sitting out a long time. The deli has limited variety of Boars Head products. The little bakery section some nice items, very expensive. I bought the crumb cake and I enjoyed. So this week I decide to try it again and once again, I truly don't know what they striving for, but they're not there not even close yet the impression I get is basically an empty store with limited supply. If they are trying for an Italian theme, they should give up. There was nothing that jumps out at you. The staff is very friendly and courteous with very little experience. Their knowledge of the products is poor, ask if they sold Pastosa ravioli from Brooklyn because I didn't see a freezer section and the response. Is that pasta. There's some stuff over there on the other end of the store. I truly think they do have potential but many changes need...
Read moreI picked up the most amazing salmon and put it on my grill along with a side salad, which is all I needed to make this meal complete. I forgot the after pictures because I was too busy getting ready to eat it. If you are looking for dinner options on your way home from work please stop in and give them a look. They’re open till 7 pm and they have homemade pasta, a bakery case that is to die for and all the meat and seafood options you can think of, plus they have cooked vegetables that are ready to go! Don’t miss out on this gem, they know how to cook food and present it! They also have hot lunches every day Monday through Saturday and they are great options and a great price! I’m so happy they’re right down the street and I can stop there and check out what they have each week. Happy to have a local grocery that isn’t crowded where you can get the attention you need and the food in a hurry. My kinda place. Thanks for the amazing selection. I look forward to seeing what you are...
Read moreWent here today for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at the selection of fresh food offered. I chose a "stuffed" portobello mushroom, ready to heat and eat, along with a couple of stuffed chicken breasts. At dinnertime, I heated them in the oven, (no heating instructions on either package), only to discover some sort of thick meat patty on top of the mushroom, (it wasn't really stuffed with anything.) So I got the paper wrapping from the garbage can, hoping for for some info about what the meat patty was made of. Nope. Nothing. I called to ask what the meat part was made of, and was told it was the "house sausage". Now, idk about you, but I want to know exactly what I am eating, so even a basic ingredient list would have been much appreciated. Not to mention that there are many people with food allergies that NEED to know exactly what...
