Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Memphis

Not generally a good experience for seniors because the kids run around & almost trip me up. I liked the $4.99 "permanent" drink cup, which allowed free soda or iced tea till end of 2023. That made the buffet an even better value, since drinks are normally around $2 extra. I hope they will offer the drink promo again for 2024. The extra savings kept me & my friends coming. Salad bar is fair; they just don't keep the lettuce tray & salad dressing bottles filled in a timely manner. They are a pizza restaurant, but pizza is their WORST offering. They don't put fresh out often enough, so they are always cold & usually several empty pizza trays. The chicken soup is very good & very HOT. Like with the other items, they need to make sure the soup pot isn't all the way down at the bottom. Floors are always sticky, so it would be nice if they clean them up. Please bring back brownies. They haven't had them in a lon-nnng time. Or jello would be nice. UPDATE, Feb 5, 2024: Back at Cici's again today for their $4.99 buffet special. That does not include drink, so I paid $7.77 for buffet & drink. Salad bar MUCH better today. Salad tray kept full, thousand island dressing bottle was full. Better selections today including beets, green olives, & corn. They haven't had beets in a few weeks, at least on the days I was there. They always have black olives but don't have green olives all the time. Today is the first time I've seen corn. Pizza is so-so today, but I'm really not big on pizza anyway. Floor a little better; at least I'm not sticking to the floor when I walk. Cinnamon rolls a little overcooked today, a little bit hard. They brought in a new game machine today, but if you want to play, you'll have to wait till they fill it with toys. $4.99 promo is Monday & Tuesday only, so they'll have it again tomorrow & next Mon & Tues. I had a taste for some pizza 🍕, so I went to Cicis Pizza on poplar Ave. I made it about 10:45 A.M. 15 minutes early. I noticed that the security portal car was on duty which was great. I decided to get out of my car 🚗 and go stand in line so I could be the first one in when they open. The employee was washing the windows, he was doing a great job. When they opened the doors the cashier was very friendly and professional. I am a senior citizen so she rung up my discount. It was busy from the start. I requested to have a meatloaves pizza 🍕 freshly made with sausage, ham, pepperoni, banana and jalapenos peppers on it. Also I ordered a special Meat 🍖 Lover's pasta bowl 🥣 with sausage, ham pepperoni, onions, bell peppers, banana, jalapenos peppers with red sauce and cheese 🧀. So they gave me my buzzer to let me know when it was ready. In the meantime I made me a salad 🥗 with iceberg lettuce, tomato, cheese 🧀, carrots, pickles, onions, croutons, with ranch dressing. As I was eating my salad 🥗. My pizza 🍕 was ready, my pasta bowl 🥣 too. This food was great, I mean great!!! What made it even better was because of the entire staff especially Alyssa who was the cashier and Rena who was the Mgr that was in the kitchen cooking. Also there was a school bus with a load of kids that came in, but the staff did an outstanding job taking care of everyone. Hats off to the Cicis Pizza staff...

Live in Hornik I used to live in Memphis. I have eaten at Cicis most of my life. I have been to this cc various times and I have been to other cc in Memphis various times as well but this one has been Yet by far the best they have treated me like I am family. I always get my orders in and they never give me ugly faces they always smile any problems, concerns, questions I may have they always respond with a nice respectful answer. I want to thank Marshall and his team for going to Bob and beyond What they do for me as a customer and what they do for the establishment as a business I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to them. I enjoy coming and eating here always clean always well treated and I will never stop coming here to the cc in Memphis off of Highland again thank you, Marshall and your team for an extraordinary Job.
