My computer was stuck in BIOS, so I brought in an M.2 SSD that I thought might be the cause. They looked at it and confirmed that it was an issue with the drive. I asked about data recovery and they said they weren't sure if it would be possible for them due to the apparent severity of the issue, but that they'd take a look at it. After a day, they were unable to recover the data, but they gave me a referral to another place that potentially could, got the drive back to me promptly, and didn't charge me a cent.
