Service was a little slow, however they were VERY busy on a Saturday night. Packed house. Our server was very friendly and offered recommendations that ended up being liked by those who selected them. They don't do separate checks, but he did bring us various colored highlighters so he charge our individual cards only for what we each ordered. Creative way to handle the situation and allows us to each pay our own. Atmosphere is lodge-like, lots of wood, many different separated dining areas which dampened the sound well from all of the diners. We had one issue with a pipe above our table sweating and then occasionally dripping on my arm, and then the table. It wasn't a LOT of water, and we did report it to the server who was visibly mortified that it was happening. He made a note to not seat anyone else there under it could be fixed. Now to the food. It was delicious. I started with the mozzarella logs which are made my favorite way...in wonton wrappers. Good sized, hearty logs, half of which I took home. For my entree, I choice the 10oz Sirloin with choice of side, that chose to be a Loaded Baked Potato. They have two choices - either bacon and mushroom or mushroom and broccoli. I had them put it all on. YUM. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY and just melted in my mouth. I had to take 2/3 of my steak and 1/2 of my potato home. The leftovers made for a fabulous brunch the next day. We had made our reservation when it was stilled named Brisco County, then we learned of the name change, then on arrival they still had the Brisco County signs. Was a little confusing for planning purposes. Just know that they are in fact the same place, just going through a super new transition.

The chicken fingers are very dry and the breading had no seasoning. I do recommend the cheese curds and seasoned fries. Only order the chimichangas if you love beans, as they are already inside the mixture. The atmosphere could use a lot of work, especially cleaning. Our booth had crumbs under the cushion. Be ready to pay a lot for a small portion. The fries are $3.99, chicken fingers are $11.99, cheese curds are $12.99. All are pictured here. Our server was nice but she forgot to bring us the complimentary bread which comes with a cinnamon butter, it will bring you back to growing up. Twice she had forgotten crackers for the chili. Edit May 31st 2025: you can request the chimichanga without beans. I found the chimichanga tasty but not the best. They top it off with shredded cheese. It comes with rice that has corn in it. The lettuce comes with pico de Gallo on top. We never got our complimentary bread, while I watched other tables get theirs. Our table needed a fresh coat of finish and there were crumbs on the chairs.

It was a slow Thursday and I would’ve rather stayed home. Issue 1: The food we was terrible, first issue was the “sweet” (like salt instead of sugar) French onion soup which was an upcharge. Second issue with food was between the brisket and ribs I’m pretty sure they used an entire bottle of Sweet Baby Rays. I literally had to wipe off my brisket with paper towel since it was unpalatable. Third food issue was the steak, tell me why a ribeye came out GREY. It was tough, under seasoned and not enjoyable. We left 75% of our meal at the table. Issue 2: our waitstaff was cold and inattentive. The waitress Katy was in charge of the table and only came to it maybe 5 times. She had other tables get seated after ours and left before us, not to mention checking on them several other times without stopping at ours. When I told her about how the food had drowned in bbq sauce, her response was “ask for it on the side next time” and “it’s sweet baby rays, how do you not like it”. Overall don’t waste your time on food you could make better at home.

We arrived for linner around 230 pm 4-20-24. (Linner=late lunch early dinner) place was cold, never felt comfortable, never took off hoodie, noticed most everyone else was not taking off coats. Server? I didn't catch his name, tall skinny kid with black hair...did a good job however I didn't eat much. I ordered a 22-23$ 1/2 steak 1/2 chicken bourbon glazed mixed veggie on rice... served on what I thought would be a boiling hot cast iron pan on a wood block. Room temperature cast iron...room temp food. Server even commented "be careful esp for the potato ...is very hot!" Nope. I had 5 pcs of steak, maybe 8 pcs of chicken, was all I ate and a little bit of veg. Butter with bread was ice cold hard as a rock (butter not bread), some kinda cinnamon butter cup for bread was frozen as well. Server apologized at the end, told him it's not his fault my lunch was low grade dog food, he stated gave me 50% bill with an unsweetened ice tea ($3.50) came to around 19 ish plus tip in the end. I tipped over 20% on top of what would have been the full bill, again, not the servers fault. I guess maybe it's my flaw for not sending stuff back but my theory is if someone comes to a restaurant, orders your food vs stays home and cooks for himself it should be well worth my time and effort and $$$ and better than I can make. Ummmm...It wasn't. Probably too many things on the menu...am I the only one watching Gordon Ramsey going to restaurants where there is wayyyy too many things on the menu isn't surprised the food sucks? It's like they're trying to please too many people vs taking the time to get less items perfect and more items imperfect. I won't be returning...

Switched to 1 star from 3 due to current state of place. It used to be you could come here for "decent" food and pretty good service but that has gone downhill. The food has plummeted severely, not sure if it's cut corners due to Covid break or what but I ordered the basket of appetizers as I always do and they were missing the poppers and only had half the cheese sticks as they used to have. Our waitress seemed to have forgot about us after that as we sat near 30 minutes after our apps just waiting for a second order of drinks much less our main course. We decided to leave as we could see our drink sitting on the bar at the waitress station for the last 15-20 minutes and still no word on food. We paid for our drinks and soup and salads and app and were told oh your food is just finishing now(like it hadn't been sitting under a hot lamp kinda like the drink on the bar) and we declined. The host told us if we waited a sec he would give it to us to go no charge, but by this time 2 of the 3 of us were in the parking lot already so I told him no thank you. I see a lot of reviews saying how busy they are, but when we showed it was maybe half full and by the time we left it was deserted almost so no reason at all for her to forget us. We also saw her serve people food that arrived AFTER us... This used to be a decent night out but I fear it has gone the way of...
