Are you serious? This is the "brownie" that was just delivered to me at 1:30pm on 7/10/18?!?!?! Who ate the rest of it before it got to me???? Reeeeeefuuuunnnnd!!!! This isn't even pathetic, this has to be a joke. UPDATE: Since this is one of the only restaurants that delivers to my work, I decided to give them another chance. I will learn from this mistake and NEVER EVER EVER again! Placed an order online at 11:29am for soup and a salad. Online notification states 30 - 40 minutes from check out my food will be delivered. Ok, pretty simple. At 12:02 I receive notification that my order has left the restaurant and is out for delivery... This should be less than a 10 minute drive. I understand that the drivers consolidate orders and make multiple deliveries at a time, so I get that it won't be exactly 10 minutes..... THIRTY minutes later my order finally arrives, so a good TWENTY minutes past the time I was quoted when I checked out. If only that's where this story ended. I open the bag and my cold cup of soup is on the bottom and my full sized "salad" is tossed in the bag, on its side and there is ZERO lettuce in the salad, just the toppings and a TON of salad dressing. What the hell am I supposed to do with a "salad" that has no lettuce? I call the store and explained what happened and I stated to just send out a container of lettuce, that's it, NONE OF THE TOPPINGS, and we'll be good and call it a day. Nope, that's too difficult apparently. ANOTHER THIRTY MINUTES pass and finally they show up. What they decided to bring me was about a half a child's size handful of lettuce, all of the toppings of the original salad MINUS the chicken and again with a TON of salad dressing. I call the store again. Ask for a manager and was denied until I explained to the girl what I wanted. I explain what happened, and I'm told that "Yes, we made it again just the way you explained: romaine lettuce, all of the original toppings, add cilantro and no chicken." At this point I had to laugh at the poor employee. "I'm sorry but never did the words 'no chicken' E-V-E-R come out of my mouth. I'm not sure what's going on there but I cannot waste anymore time on this today, I have work that I should be doing." I'm then allowed access to speak to a manager. A good 3-4 minute wait. I explain to the manager all over again what happened. If it wasn't so pathetic, I'd be laughing but seriously, it is not that difficult to get a soup and salad order correct... apparently it must be at this location. I asked for and received a full refund back from the manager, still left hungry at this point since the "salad" that I now have sitting in front of me consists of 2 helpings of toppings, 1 serving of now cold chicken, half a child's size handful of lettuce and about a gallon of salad dressing that has made the entire thing delightfully soggy. I ordered delivery through the app and was waiting for my order that never came. I discovered they use third-party delivery through DoorDash. It turns out my Dasher canceled my order. I called the store and they said there was nothing that they could do and I would have to call DoorDash. Wanting to assume the best, I contacted the driver and she claimed her car broke down and there was another dasher on the way that will be there in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes passed and no one ever came. I called DoorDash and basically said the Dasher lied and there was no one on the way. They were very gracious and resubmitted my order and assigned it to another dasher. I saw that two dashers had came to the store to pick up my order, but my order was canceled both times. I called the store and the woman I spoke to claimed there was no way they would remake the order unless I called DoorDash and they could submit the order back into the Panera system. In my opinion, this is poor customer service because I had called and she was aware of the situation. I expressed to her I had hungry children at home that were waiting to eat. She said there was nothing she could do and they would not remake it unless I called DoorDash. I called DoorDash and they said they were not able to do what the employee was requesting. They contacted Panera customer service, who were very gracious and offered me credits towards my next visits. There is either serious issues with the app that need to be addressed or employees need to be more knowledgeable about how to actually fix these issues for the benefit of the customer instead of sending them to play phone tag trying to rectify the problem.
I will be taking my concerns to corporate and won't be coming to this store again until I have the assurance they will be more solutions oriented and customer focused should issues arise...
Read moreI will never go to this Panera ever again. My boyfriend went in to order me two Asiago cheese bagels, a fruit cup, and tea. He gave the cashier a $50 bill, the worker gave him $17 back. He moved over so the young lady can take care of the other customers behind him. When reproaching the counter, the lady denied being given a $20 bill. The manager then came and said he counted the registered and reviewed the cameras that everything was accurate. My boyfriend asked to see the video and the manager said no. My boyfriend gave them the $17 that he had gotten back and asked if the two bagels, tea, and fruit cup amounted to $30 something dollars. The manager said no and then gave him $17 plus an additional $5. When asked why he was given an additional $5 the manager shrugged his shoulders, very professional right? After spending 20-30mins there my boyfriend ended up giving them all the change back and walked out. He walked out to show that he wasn’t lying. Panera basically just got a free $30 something off us. It’s so crazy how society works now a days, what happen to customers come first. I told my boyfriend he shouldn’t had worried about the line behind him and immediately told her right then and there that she had screwed up.
