( See my below second response to Mr. Walsh's comments) This is a nice small town Jeweler in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. They have repaired several items for my family since we purchased our homes here. I actually hoped to give them more stars however we were a little taken aback after they recently repaired my wives new broken fresh water pearl necklace. In addition, they repaired a link on my gold bracelet. The day I picked our items up I attempted to purchase a proper felt lined pearl box for our necklace and was told by the owner he couldn't sale me a felt lined box as the box had the Walsh Jewelers name on it. This was shocking as our fresh water pearl necklace was brand new and was recently purchased. He attempted to give me another small card board box in which I declined. In addition, his store didn't take American Express! As an African American homeowner in Menomonee Falls many of the businesses such as Walsh makes you feel as if they are nervous or unsure when you enter their establishment to do business with them. Let me reassure them that many retired African American homeowner professionals such as us are law abiding citizens with the financial resources $$ to go anywhere we please. We should therefore be treated with respect and in the same manner as any of their other customers. And it's OK to smile every now and then. Disabled Veteran.

My response to Mr. Walsh's comments.
Thank you kindly for your response Mr. Walsh however I think the first thing we should both agree on is honesty is the best policy. Much of what you state here never occurred. It appears you are trying to tactfully attempt to get the readers to believe that my recollection of events were not actual and of course that could not be further from the truth. Please be assured there are several other businesses that would have no problem allowing their customers to purchase the proper desired box whether it had their name on it or not as it would be good customer service and it would also be excellent advertising for their business. As for your recollection of how I was greeted at your establishment, that is just not the case. I stand by my account of how I was greeted. In addition, if you can recall you originally quoted me over $100 dollars to repair a link on my gold bracelet that was actually repaired in the recent past by another jeweler for about $25 dollars. It was not until my wife on the phone and I standing there, shared our dismay that you agreed to repair it for $40 dollars. In addition, I still believe that your business would greatly benefit from cultural sensitivity exercises. By the way, I was able to purchase the proper box for our pearl necklace after leaving your establishment with no problem. Thank you for your response and I would treasure further constructive dialog. Best Regards,

Read moreGreat place, and great guy who owns this place. I emailed the owner from his website asking if there was a way that I could get my watch metal watch band resized because I had a brand new watch, and he promptly emailed me back and told me I could come in starting May 8, 2020, Only one customer in the store at a time because of COVID-19 restrictions. Not only did he do a great job resizing the band, but he also reset a function on another watch I was wearing where the stopwatch function would not return to the 12 o’clock position after you were done using it. I thought he was going to charge me, so I told him I could get it taken care of through warranty because the watch wasn’t that old, but he told me it would only take a moment, and he didn’t even charge me.
We also had a good in-depth conversation about what’s going on in the world today regarding the PLANdemic, and he gave me a lot of information about where my watch came from and a bit of the history of Seiko watches, because the watch I brought in was a $240 Invicta, and I did not know that they were made by Seiko. I highly recommend this place, as the jewelry is also beautiful there.
This guy knows his stuff, and has a nice inventory of jewelry....
Read moreI have been shopping at Walsh jewelers for more than 7 years and they are fantastic!! My wife and I bought our wedding rings there. I had a couple of crazy ideas and talked with Shawn about customizing a setting to fit a loose emerald I had previously bought from them, (she loves emeralds). Shawn worked with me to make my ideas happen and the combination turned out GREAT! My wife truly cherishes her ring.
I am now planning another custom ring for myself. Wherever you live, they are...
