I had a recent workout and chose Chipotle over Subway for something new.. I walked in and waited for the cashier to slowly walk over to me, all without making eye contact once or saying hello to me. I told her I haven't been here in a while so I didn't know what I wanted right away, so she walked away behind the wall.. 5 minutes go by and she slowly comes back not even asking what I want.. Knowing Id have to do all the talking myself, I ordered a typical burrito. First ingredient I chose? Brown rice, which they were out of.. I was only the 2nd person in the building, and they couldn't take the initiative to make sure they had ingredients.. Cashier looks at the empty brown rice container and says "brown rice" softly, as if the teenager behind the wall could hear her. Nothing happened.. 3 minutes go by and she is staring at me dumbfounded.. I said, you know what, if you are out of Brown rice, ill take white rice. Problem solved? Nope, after spending $8 on a the burrito I semi wanted, I open it up to take a bite and the whole damn thing fell apart.. All at once. Its as if she wrapped my burrito with no effort, would have been better off throwing all the ingredients on the empty tortilla for me to wrap myself.
Horrible experience, I wanted to puke out the burrito in disgust after my experience. Never going back. Don't give me free coupons or free anything, telling everyone how bad this place I will be the...
Read moreI ordered online a burrito bowl with chicken and brought it home to eat. When I unwrapped the container I looked with disbelief. The bowl was swimming in a soup of sour cream. Very little chicken or the other ingredients I ordered. The dinner was inedible. First time this happened as I have ordered this dish many times in the past. I called the manager of the store and he was willing to give a replacement dinner at next visit. I mentioned that his staff person preparing the meal needed more training and he agreed. I also felt that he was too aloof so I mentioned that I would call the corporate office to complain and he agreed. I left a written message for the corporate office and received a comment quickly. It was apparent the person responding didn't read the complaint very well because he referred to the complaint as a wrong order and willing to replace the meal but I would have to go online again and complete more information. I see this as a pattern of poor business practices that will not end well for the corporation. Management uninterested in details and careless employees poorly trained are tip offs of a larger corporate problem. I will not return for my replacement meal as I have no confidence in this establishments ability to deliver quality food as the other two meals that were purchased by me that day were lacking in...
Read moreOrdered online roughly 11 am with a 12:10 pickup. Husband gets there at 11:55. Food is sitting. Gets home 12:05...still 5 mins BEFORE our scheduled pickup time. It is apparent that our food has been sitting since order placement. The lettuce and spinach has become slimey. The guacamole is brown on the outside. Guac lovers know that doesnt happen right away. The entire bowl is swimming in liquid that likely accumulated during the cooling of the food and resulting condensation. The temperature of all items in the bowl is uniform. Cold items and hot items have come to a uniform room temperature.
The entire meal was thrown in the garbage. The whole point of a pickup time is so your staff can schedule accordingly. The point is not to make someone's food an hour in advance to sit in an uncontrolled and unsafe temperature...this is how you make people sick! What a waste of food, energy, and money. Never order ahead. The concept is great but the workers clearly don't care about anything other than clearing their order queue....
