I would give zero stars if possible to this store. While shopping with colleagues for a summer camp at 7353 Mentor Ave in Mentor Ohio something rather upsetting occurred. We were a large group of 8 that came in and split into smaller groups so each person could gather what they needed. While looking for granola bars with one colleague two employees (one of which was a manager) walked down the isle saying very loudly to âfollow him until he gets uncomfortable and leaves. I donât care how long it takesâ. Now being a rational person I was concerned from my colleagues and wanted to make sure everyone was safe. We left the isle we were in to gather everyone for a quick check in. She found our two male colleagues first. One was shocked at what we heard but was not being followed. Another colleague comes around the corner of the isle and says âguys guess what just happenedâ. As he approaches us the manager that spoke about âfollowingâ someone and making them âuncomfortableâ comes around the corner and watches us. Standing there staring as he tells us that she came up to him and said âI know youâre shopliftingâ. He then said that she could search his bag but she did not. She then followed us for the rest of the time we were there. One of our colleagues went out, put his paid for items in his car and came back to talk to her about the situation. He was calm and kind to her. He even stated that he did not want to cause a scene or be loud because no one has time for that. The manager then stated that she saw our person pull his phone out of his bag and was playing with it while the bag was open, and that is why he was followed. For playing with his phone. She then denied that she was involved with the conversation about following someone until they were uncomfortable even though I saw and heard her have that conversation. I am deeply concerned that this is how your manager is handling situations. She is targeting people and causing undue stress to customers who are just trying to shop. Several of us work in the retail industry. We are very familiar with loss prevention practices and policies. This is not how this situation should have been handle. There was no just cause for this behavior. There was no witness of him doing anything other than playing with his phone. This is appalling behavior from someone who should...

Read moreKaren K in the pharmacy not only gave us the wrong prescription on 2 occasions (yes you read that right), she had also previously snapped at my disabled mother TWICE on the phone (impatient while we had questions about an appointment), she was also rude in person AND had us standing waiting while she had a personal convo with someone . After a hip replacement, thatâs not ok, and Karen knew what she was doing. She kept looking over.
Some people take joy in using their small bit of influence to assert control. She is one of those people. Get your prescriptions filled elsewhere.
If youâre management, this is the sort of treatment that you wouldnât pick up on unless customers bother to tell...
