This was the worst experience I have ever had when getting a new phone. I had ordered my phone online earlier in the day and was going to pick it up at this store. I get there and I don't get greeted or helped for at least 20 minutes. When they finally did pay attention to me, they told me that they don't have an online order from me. I gave them the confirmation code, time of the order, exactly what phone I was getting, etc. I had already paid for the phone before I even got there. They tried to accommodate me as best as possible and I appreciated their efforts, but they didn't even give me the phone I wanted. I wanted the Galaxy Note 10 in Aura Glow. The salesperson came out with white, I told him I wanted Aura Glow, and he told me it was the same as the white (it's not). They charged me again for the phone and told me that my other payment will be refunded (it wasn't). I was told on the AT&T website when upgrading, my old phone had to be sent in within 14 days. The store told me I had to trade it in right away. It took well over 30 minutes to transfer all of my stuff from my old phone to my new phone. I was in that store for a total of 2 and a half hours when it should have been a 20 minute long process. My phone finished transferring, the man was like "it's under Anthony?" and I said no. I told him what name it was under and he was like "oh okay, you already got a receipt?" And I said no. And he said. "You don't need one right?" And I was like I guess not. Terrible customer service. I finally left with my new phone, walked to my car, got my 1 and a half year old daughter strapped into her carseat, tried to make a phone call, and my phone told me that there is no SIM card inserted. THEY FORGOT TO PUT A SIM CARD IN MY PHONE. I had to walk all the way back with my daughter and tell them to put a SIM card in it. I would not suggest buying anything from this place. They are not helpful, they are rude, and they just sit there looking like you are bothering them the whole time. I will never be back...
ย ย ย Read moreDO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! If I could give zero stars, I would. In June 2021 I ended up switching from my previous carrier to AT&T FirstNet which is a service for first responders. I was talked into a bundle with 3 devices/lines that included a Galaxy s21 phone, smart watch, and tablet. The service didn't work well at my home so the store changed the Sim card, but it didn't help. I ended up returning all devices and canceled the plan before the 14 day grace period. They refunded the activation fee and waived the restocking fee. I left the store being told everything was all set and I owed nothing. From then until now, mid October it's been nothing but issues that should have been resolved the day I returned the equipment. I kept getting a bill for $799 for the S21 phone I had already returned and canceled service on.ย I've had 2 calls with FirstNet that took an hour each, at least 3 calls to the AT&T store and 4 in person visits attempting to resolve this over the past few months. Every time I would speak with Chad (store manager) he would tell me he took care of it, but the issue persisted. I asked for documentation in writing from the store but Chad refused and instead told his colleague to re-print receipts showing the equipment was previously returned. Yesterday, I received 4 calls from a collection agency threatening to submit a negative report to credit bureaus if I didn't make a payment towards the phone I don't have. As of today FirstNet (after another hour long phone call) says they have manually adjusted the account and sent me an email. I would never ever recommend dealing with this company or store after the unnecessary drama and waste of time I've had to deal with. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and if my credit is impacted because of their negligence and ignorance I will also be filing a law suit. There was no need for any of this to happen and be dragged out...
ย ย ย Read moreSigned up in July 2020. Told them we wanted 2 phones, no installments and unlimited data. Saleman Jeremy offered 3 phones iPhone, s10 and a10 e. Said phones were free with contract and promotion. Once Bill "catches up" bill would be 130-140 a month. We paid activation and taxes. Our first bill was over $200. Upon questioning it we were told everything had to "catch up" next bill was 0. Next bills came in 180. We were told he provided us with incorrect phones and we could change them out, however bill would be 130-140 once it " caught up". We were also sold an incorrect charging wire requiring another trip to store! Again next bill was over $180. Female manager said 130-140 was not correct as it was before taxes, which we weren't told by other sales person! We signed up for auto pay, aarp and removed upgrade. 611 said we weren't receiving our auto pay discount and credited us $50. Next bill we were told we ," couldn't keep calling for credits"! Store manager was changed in nov. He said phones were not promotional and we were paying installments. We never would or did agree to this! Tried since December to solve problem. He submitted a credit which hadn't gone through. This was never addressed to us by store! Manager wouldn't call us back or left early or wasn't there. 611 said the store had to solve problem or call them while there. Store said they couldn't do that. 611 said go to store, store said call 611! After saying they were "lying" and knew phones weren't promotional and sold them to us to earn commission ". Finally talked to manager 1/29 Said he had submitted it correctly and was not going to continue to and wasn't going to call support number to help him do so! Called 611 again and had problem finally solved. Salesman is no longer there. Current Salesman, 611 and manager were very rude! Poor customer service! Go to another store to sign up...
