Terrible experience. First went on a Friday with a wet cough, congestion, a slight wheeze, and a sore throat. A nurse came in to check o2, blood pressure and my temp. The doctor tested for covid and strep. When both tests came back negative the doctor brushed the sickness off as the cold and told me I should be better in a few days. With my symptoms only getting worse after 4 days I returned to get seen again. A nurse came in to check my o2 and blood pressure but never took a temp reading though this data was filled out with random numbers on my discharge papers. A doctor gave a nebulizer treatment and my o2 levels improved from 96 to 99. The doctor stated this was most likely a lingering cold. I have had pneumonia and bronchitis in the past and informed the doctor of this. I also stated I felt this was more similar to those illnesses than a cold. After telling him multiple times that I felt this was not a cold and was something more serious the doctor finally listened to my breathing and lungs. After doing so he finally agreed and said I have acute viral bronchitis and not a cold. He prescribed an inhaler, a steroid, and a cough medication. After insisting multiple times that I did not want to have to return for a 3rd time if not getting better the doctor hesitantly also prescribed an antibiotic though informed me to wait "a few days" before taking said antibiotic. Both doctors didn't take my concerns seriously and at first tried to downplay my symptoms as a cold or covid. Terrible experience having to pay a co-pay 2 times to have to be taken seriously and get treated properly. Would not recommend...
Read moreI went to this Urgent Care for my 11 year old daughter. We were seen by Kristin Hall, PA. My daughter had a nasty sinus infection for almost a week and left pinkeye. She was visibly congested, coughing, and had a pink left eye. Kristin comes into the room making jokes- as some physicians do with children. She does a fairly quick assessment and tells us that the sinus infection and pinkeye are both viral. She tells me first that her eye is not red- which is completely false. I had to literally point it out to her before she acknowledged it. She tells me that since my daughter âisnât on the floor and dying,â that the case is mild and she wouldnât need any prescibed medication. She didnât ask me any questions and was clearly going off what was said during the initial check in. She continues to say that this is viral and can take up to 2 weeks to resolve. She asks me what medications we have been using so I tell her- which have been over the counter max sinus infection medication. She said that that medication is âtrashâ and to try Sudafed (which I looked and has literally the same ingredients.) Iâm super disappointed and distraught by this physician. She was absolutely careless, unattending, and made both myself and my daughter feel hopeless. She made jokes that were not funny and undermined my daughterâs condition who was literally up crying at night and visibly sick for a while. I will absolutely never go here again with this physician still on the schedule. Donât even bother wasting your time- she does not care about...
Read moreEdit (Tuesday 12pm): Got a call back yesterday around 2pm. The results were finally sent to the provider and I got an apologetic call back from one of the nurses. Not sure why it took 5 days or where the miscommunication went bad but glad to finally have results.
Edit (Monday 12pm): Finally got in touch with someone only to find out my strep culture was never sent out to be tested. What an absolute joke! Stay far away from this place!
Edited to add (Monday 9am): My visit was early on Wednesday and I left a message early Friday afternoon. It's now Monday, still no results of my strep culture and no response back from anyone. Trying to call and talk to a person doesn't seem to be an option. Will never be back.
Walk-in visit started out good. Front desk and nurse were friendly. The doctor that came in after barely looked at my throat, did a strep test, told me I should have results in 2-3 days, and asked if I had any questions as she walked out the door. She asked about my covid symptoms since I tested positive earlier last month. Tried talking to her about my lingering symptoms and she basically told me to talk to my primary and wanted to know nothing about them. Iâve been trying to call for my results and no one answers the phone. I left a message and got no call back (24 hours later since this review). Tried calling again and again an answering machine. Overall disappointed after my first (and...
