Walgreens — Local services in Meriden

I wish I could give 0 stars to be honest because 1 is generous for this pharmacy. I called this morning to make sure a prescription would be filled, was told it was all set, they even checked to make sure it was in stock. Good! Glad I’m all set. Arrive around 5, prescription wasn’t ready and they said I would have to wait. After waiting a couple min the pharmacist yelled to the girl at the register to tell me that he didn’t have any and it wouldn’t be available until Thursday.. it’s Tuesday.. why would I be told this morning around 10am that everything was all set and then now that I’ve gone there and am waiting for it, I’m told they don’t even have it! What is wrong with these people?? I fill this prescription every month, other pharmacies make sure they order enough to fulfill their regular orders, obviously this pharmacist isn’t aware of this practice. I will definitely be looking to go somewhere else. I only continued here because it was easy with the app and a convenient location. But obviously they don’t know how to do their jobs, so how convenient is...

Worst Walgreens ever!!! First their phones weren't working and I had to run my husband's insurance card up to the store, approximately 9:30. Naturally the scripts weren't ready. Meanwhile, my husband is in extreme pain. I explained this to them, but still had to come back in 2 hours for the meds. When I got there, 3 cars were in front of me and all 3 picked up their scripts, however, when I got to the window, they told me I had to come in. I explained I had a broken foot. One woman just walked away from the window. Another girl came over and told me the register was restarting and I had to come in. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! So I hobble in, get the prescriptions, and they had the attitude. Really??? After everything, they are going to be snotty to boot? This was my first dealing with this Walgreens, I usually use the one on West Main, but this one is more convenient, or so I thought. It was my first and LAST trip to this store. My experience...

Absolutely worst service I have ever received at a pharmacy! No wonder the cvs always has a line out of their door for their pharmacy! This Walgreens pharmacy employees are very rude as well as the pharmacy managers. I have cancer and switched my medicine to this pharmacy, they made me wait 3 days almost 4 to get the pain medicine my doctor prescribed to help me function throughout the day. They gave me nothing but attitude and a hard time. When I called the store I spoke to a manager or assistant manager who was very nice and took initiative to help the situation. After I called corporate to make a formal complaint, the store manager called and was basically to me coming up with excuses for his employees behavior instead of correcting it and making me feel like something was going to be done.
