Please don't go to burger king any of them, especially the one at 825 east main street in meriden, and the one broad street wallingford. I am a 64 year-old partially disabled United states air force veteran that believes in integrity first and foremost. I do not like to be lied to. I went to the drive through in wallingford on broad street late at night, and I was told about a survey that if I called up and took I would get a free meal, I don't look for something for nothing deals.. but in this day and age, I thought why not. I'll put in the 20 for 25 minutes...Whatever it took to do, the survey And have a meal. I went to the Burger King . East main street in meriden connecticut to take advantage of the offer that was given to me. The manager there during the day was real rude. I explained to her what I was told in what I did to earn the free meal and all I wanted was just a sandwich. Anyway. She refused it, she said I had to buy fries and a soda which it would cost about $6 by the time I'm done, which to me doesn't sound free. I feel that they tried to buy you with a free meal to get a great survey, and then not produce it. She said everything was printed on the back of the ticket which is so small. You need a magnifying glass to read it and again. I was never told this. In my opinion, because I was someone who liked to go to Burger King in the past. And she could see by the code that was given to me when I made the phone call. I did the survey, she should've done something for me to give me the burger. It wouldn't have cost Burger King, anything except good public relations. What's worse? She was very rude about it, and I walked out of there thinking. I will never go to another Burger King. Nor will I let my family members go or anybody at my VFW hall. I will tell all of them about this experience.I feel very slighted. I guessed they're old slogan. Have it your way at burger king, it doesn't...
Read moreI do not know what was going on at this location when I was there but it was as an absolute disaster. I waited 30 minutes and three cars ahead of me to order (I would have left but I was trapped in the single line) just to pull up to the drive thru speaker to be told we don’t have burgers, chicken , fries. That they only had onion rings and mozzarella sticks. I said then what am I to do then if I placed a mobile order. She told me to hold on. A Miracle must have happened because they were fill my order. Waited another 20 minutes to pull up to the next window and the order wasn’t even ready yet. I sat at the window yet another 10 minutes while they made my order. I knew she wasn’t alone as I heard her speaking to someone else. Offer no explanation or apologies, the food tasted like garbage. I was at a different BK earlier in the day and and ordered the Same thing and it tasted completely different, they threw on a pickle, a tomato, and ketchup. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Burger King location. I worked for BK and this was completely unacceptable when I worked for there. At the very least they should have put a sign up at the start of drive through what they were out of and not trapping people there for an hour. It’s called communication, there was a huge lack of that. Terrible, terrible, terrible!! I will never go back to this...
Read moreI've had the saddest fast food experience today at Burger King in Meriden. When I drove up to pay and receive my meal I was told to drive up to the front of the building for our food, which I understand because they want a good drive thru time. 25 minutes later an employee came out with a bag in her hand and instantly returned to the building. So we gave it another 5 minutes and decided enough was enough. I entered inside the building to confront the employees and told them my situation. A lady who looked like the manager confronted me in disbelief and asked her employees if they gave us our food. Not only did the employee responded with an attitude, but lied directly in my face and said she served us the food. The manager then asked for my receipt which I then gave her. They took another 10 minutes to make my food, which they STILL missed a few items. Not one time have they apologized and tried to help me with coupons for their poor performance. They just handed me the bag and left in silence. This was poor service and I recommend not coming here. And this is coming from one who works in a restaurant that seeks the best for our customers and make sure we provide the service they expect. And if we make a mistake, we make sure we make it right and hand the costumers a free coupon in hope to have them return. Burger King in Meriden can learn a...
