Had my phone screen replaced due to cracking mid March. Employees werenât friendly and said over the phone they would price match. I showed up at the store and they gave me the run around about matching the price another store gave me. Finally they agreed. They took my phone in the back to replace the screen. An hour later they brought my phone back out and said it would work fine. I paid and left. Well, within an hour, my phone started acting up and I had to press so hard on my screen to even get a letter to register on my text messages. My social media pages wouldnât swipe, and eventually throughout the next week it got so bad that my phone was full on glitching. Buttons on my screen werenât working. It would flip my camera on its own during FaceTime calls. My phone even ended up calling 911 on its own because it would make random calls and press random numbers by itself. I called the store back and they told me to bring it in, so I did. I get there and they tell me itâs covered by the warranty and will be swapped out for free. I go two doors down to wait, they woman comes back and approaches me while Iâm eating instead of calling me on the other contact number I left with them, and tells me they wonât fix my phone. When told the reason, they said that there was a crack in the very right hand corner of the screen and it voided the warranty. THAT CRACK WAS HIDDEN UNDER MY PHONE CASE AND WAS LESS THAN A MILLIMETER IN SIZE!!! I could barely see it, and when I told them it was ridiculous, she tossed my phone on the table and said, âwell, we canât help youâ and walked away. I took my phone to a different repair shop that handles phone insurance claims, and they told me that CPR repair meridian is notorious for cracking the new screen where someone wonât notice, especially if they have a case to cover it, and then telling them that it voids the warranty so they keep having to bring their phone back and pay more money. Not to mention they told me that CPR put in the lowest quality screen they had on my phone to repair it and that it wasnât even glass, it was hard PLASTIC!!!!! I am beyond livid and utterly disgusted with customer service and product/results with this company. Truly disgusting and nothing but scam artists and liars! DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT GO...
Read moreI went in to have my phone screen replaced and after paying them the whopping $270 for a replacement screen I came home only to realize there was a horrible rattle whenever the phone vibrated. I then had to make a second trip all the way back out and have them work on my phone for another hour (more time away from my phone that prevents me from working). Not to mention the fact that the technician who took my phone the second time immediately dropped it on the floor right after I took the case off and handed it to him. This technician in specific also did not seem to want to take accountability for the mistake that caused the rattle, instead saying that it was easy to overlook and that they don't check for vibrations before returning phones to their customers. Something that takes literally 1 second by just lowering the volume until it vibrates.
None of this would have been worth my time to leave a review except for the fact that when I asked for any type of discount or refund for the inconvenience and mishandling of my phone I was I was told no, that they wouldn't give me any kind of compensation except "maybe $10 off the next time you come in".
I will not be coming back in because I will never use this company again for any kind of electronic repairs. The only pleasant experience was the gentleman I spoke with on the phone (and I believe to be the same guy I spoke with in person on the first visit) being super friendly and accommodating with getting me in the same day to start this whole ordeal.

Read moreI am a 77 year old who is easily frustrated by our new tech world. A major worry has been losing continuing updates for Windows 7 and having to change to Windows 10. I have heard horror stories from friends about learning to use Windows 10. I called Rockstar to get a quote to have Windows 10 installed on my computer. The price was good so I took my computer in. I left it a little after 10 o:clock and just before 2 o:clock I was called and notified that my computer was ready. A four hour turn around was amazing, previously I would wait days to get my computer back when taken in for service. When I picked it up Justin spent time with me to clean up and adjust how Windows 10 appeared on the screen so that it resembled more closely that which I was familiar with in Windows 7. Because of the extra time Justin took to make those changes I been able to maneuver around in Windows 10 very easily. I have not experienced any of the problems of using Windows 10 that friends and family had told me about their having. Not only was the Windows 10 easier to use but I still had my Microsoft Chrome which I had been using with all my favorites. My transition from Windows 7 to 10 has been much less frustrating than I worried it would be and the credit for that is the service I received from Rockstar and from Justin. They deserve the 5 Star rating I gave them. I don't expect to be around for a long time but for the time I am they will definitely will be my go to...
