I had made an online order with store pickup along with several coworkers. At pickup I stated the reason I was there and the manager (?) sputtered and in an agitated manner demanded proof. Of course I didn't have it. I phoned my work to get their confirmation numbers. Before the call ended he asked me for the names. I told him that info and he handed the orders to me. Not off to a good start. Once at work I opened my container only to find a horrible surprise. I had ordered Veggie Stir Fry but only received noodles. Not ONE veggie. And this cost me $17. I couldn't take the food back due to work commitments and instead made a complaint on their website following the complaint process. Two days later I received this reply
Hi Mike,
We're sorry to hear about your issue. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to provide a refund for this order. We understand your frustration and will look to improve so we can provide a better experience for you next time.
Best regards, Pho House
What!? My order wasn't even close to what I asked for and they wouldn't give me a refund? I couldn't believe what I was reading. I strongly suggest that you never eat here since this restaurant comfortably practices deceit and fraud. Worst experience I think I...
Read moreI came here to try some Vietnamese Pho and I ordered Pho Dac Biet. Took awhile to take orders. What I got was mostly noodles with broth and some little meat . Not as much meat as the actual authentic Vietnamese Pho I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong here, I had pho all my life so I know what a good authentic Vietnamese Pho taste & look like. It was supposed to be a “ Special Combination Beef Noodle Soup” and it did not include beef tendons and tripe..the meat was sliced up pretty small. I probably had like 2 whole meatballs portions which was disappointing and upsetting because I paid 17$ for that bowl and I had to pay xtra just to add for those that was missing? Picture of what I got looks like compared to an actual one. Look at the difference. It did not look or taste like a “ Special Dish”. To me, it was ok, but lack of protein to the dish and plating, looks bland. Please put some more love & care into the dishes. If you’re looking for an authentic Vietnamese foods, I wouldn’t recommend this place. I would...
Read moreI have had pho one time In Seattle WA I wasn't expecting Idaho to stand up to my standards but this does not even come close. I added the red pepper flakes myself
Even when I made it at home once I came closer with the tastes of cinnamon and black licorice coming to the forefront of the dish....I over added some dragon cayenne peppers so it was too spicy to eat lol
Just a suggestion I was really looking forward to the Anise and cinnamon :(( I got none of it the leaves were a little licorice like I don't know what pepper came with it I assumed it should be jalapeno it wasn't spicy at all....the ham was more like spam then ham hock? Another suggestion: Serve thin slices of raw steak they will cook as they are added to the soup by the consumer.
Please please make it spicy! There is no spice at all I am really bummed. I know a lot of white people complain but if it's a dish that is meant to be spicy then that's what it should...
