1st visit & YAY! i finally found some good mexican food. it's not tex-mex good, but it's still very good. has flavor. so much of it up here is just bland. i had a cheese enchilada, have to try them every place i go & this one was wonderful & cheesy. had cheddar & either mozzarella or jack together & enough cheese that is was over flowing. very happy with them & that alone will have me going back. i also got the steak fajita quesadilla. full of cheese meat and onion with some diced tomato. came with sour cream & average guacamole. refried beans weren't bland & the rice was average, but bad. i had a pina colada that was refreshing, not overly strong, at $8 it could have been stronger. my son had the same wiht chicken. tried both & the steak was way better, but both still good. he agreed the enchilada was wonderful though. at the end of the meal they brought us two triangles of a sopapilla with cinnamon whipped cream & some strawberry sauce on them. very nice touch. greeting service wasn't immediate when walking in, but the over all service was quick & they were good about checking up on us. did not have to wait for refills...
Read moreIt was our first time and it was very good. Hubby and I both got combo plates. I got chicken enchilada and a Chile Relleno add beef and hubby got chicken chimichanga and a Chile relleno add beef. They didn’t charge us for the extra beef which was very kind and goes A LONG way in our eyes (and tummy 😉). We got our little girl a cheese quesadilla and that was really good! $3.50 for a quesadilla, rice and beans. Our food was super good too. I am picky with rice and they have really good rice. The chicken was super yummy. I wasn’t too big of a fan of the egg on the relleno but the chimichanga was really good too.
At first our service kind of started off on a wrong foot as she seemed to really rush us when ordering and basically walked away as my husband was finishing his order but our food was correct and she was good the rest of the time.
We even got a little dessert when we were done. Don’t mind the photo of it half eaten 🙈 it was...
Read moreWe're new to Idaho and have been looking for a place that has a real vegetarian burrito. What I mean is one that actually has vegetables. Every other spot that offers it just omits the meat and adds lettuce an tomatoes. That's not a vegetarian burrito! Not only did this place have one, it was so full of flavor. Their pinto beans are unique in flavor and even those has veggies in them. I ordered the vegetarian chimichanga and the jalapeño cream sauce was a nice flavorful touch. Nothing was spicy (which I love) cause I can't handle much heat. Their salsa was just the right amount of kick. And the staff was very nice and accommodating. This is definitely our new go to spot! The food can be made vegan too, just say no dairy. I can't wait to try the other...
